"Wonderful hotel with spacious rooms and large beds. It was clean and airy and fresh. Location just a 5 minutes walk from Nagoya Station could not be better. The only negative was I wanted to extend my stay a night and the rate they offered was more than double the online rate. I found that to be quite predatory and opportunistic. And it loses both business and goodwill. I went and sat in the lobby and rebooked online, so all good. "

"As with small hotels in Japan you do not raise expectations on space. Equally the Meitetsu Grand is small but practical with everything in place. The major plus is the super great location in the prime heart of train, bus station and shopping malls, food options. On top of that it has options for self washing/drying clothes which is must have in summer if you are on a longer stay. The service is another strong point of this hotel. You make a request or maintenance call and it is fixed immediately. I once had water leak from the air-conditioning on some books and they not only fixed it but compensated for the replacement. The prices also are reasonable especially those on long stays."

"I didn't stay in the room much as I only stayed for two nights. I was out most of the time. Was provided an useful pamphlet at check-in. Typical small room, no space under the bed for luggage to be stored, but overall neat. Looks like you can connect your laptop or console to the TV as there's a HDMI port but I didn't try. Check-out was seamless, and having luggage stored until the end of check-out day was convenient. Was given a waterproof numbered token to prove it's your luggage upon retrieval, which was thankfully quick as I was in a hurry to catch the shinkansen."
