"Resort was outstanding. Everything was top of the line. Island was beautiful with white sand and water was every shade of blue imaginable with great visibility. Food was excellent, staff was friendly and the rooms are spotless. Although the reef was mostly dead as it is most places in the Maldives ..."
"Stayed for a 3 night business trip and chose this location based on its proximity to the office that I needed to be at. This was a good value for what it was and provided the very basics of what you need. The room was very small, but would be enough space for 1 - 2 people so long as you don't have ..."
"Staying here is like being in someone’s home with really good personal chefs available. You only need a pair of slip ons to leave at the front door and you can walk everywhere on the Island. On days when we didn’t have an excursion we quickly developed a routine of a few hours at the beach , coffee ..."
"Great service / being picked up and dropped off. Staff were accommodating as we arrived late and left early! Noisy hotel though (room was right near stairs and other guests were still making noise at 1am). Small rooms but we didn’t stay long before we left again so worked ok for us "
"Pros: The huts over the water are so beautiful. You can snorkel right off them. The island walks to the restaurants are hot but it's nice to get some exercise and walk the island :) the food was GOOD! So they must have adjusted after peoples reviews. I thought it was great and I've stayed at A LOT of 5 star resorts. The restaurant and house cleaning staff are amazing! so fun and friendly( I even became friends with one, Ernie. She was absolutely wonderful and I think management should promote her to customer relations, management or an Ambassador!! truly ) The Whaleshark snorkelling was Well worth it. You also have lunch at a little private island. The cheese and wine pairing was wonderful with the sommelier. The spa was the BEST massage and facial I have EVER gotten in my life. The float plane was lovely coming in and out. No issues there -- overall, it's a great place. I would recommend it and would stay again!
Cons: It is true the ambassador's are definitely 'tired' and just only message you when you ask for something. There's no enthusiasm or texting you being like " what do YOU want to do today! " Trying to make it special. It is what it is. If only they switched the restaurant staff to be ambassadors ! Just don't go there expecting that. But it is still nice they have the ability to even text someone with things you need or questions at any time anyway. Most resorts don't even have that.
"We have travelled with the kids. The moment we have arived at the resort we were welcomed by Mira and the other team. The stay was pleasant overall , staff was aways nice and helped us all along whenever we have enquired. Staying with kids at the cottage with pool next to lagoon had ticked all our boxes. Whole day swiming, snorkling, taking variuos activities. Food was amazing, we've put couple of killos since we arrived. Variaty of different dishes had made it very special. Full board was worth it. On the last day our Friends from orther Island have arrived and joined us for dinner. We wouldnt be able to aranged this all if not Mira. Thank you for looking after us, we really appreciate your help 🙏 we would certainly return again soon. Thank you!"

"Meeru is very well run resort. Transport from Male takes an hour boat ride, which will be arranged close to your arrival time, no waiting. Welcome is lovely at the resort with Maldivian drums. Check in was easy and we got our room straight away even we arrived much earlier at least 4 hours The island has plenty of restaurants. We booked beach villa with jacuzzi, nice size with comfy bed and out door shower. We were on full board, the food was fantastic and lots to chose from and usually every day they had a different cuisine on show case. We were assigned to one of the 18 restaurant only for our full board meals, but we could visit the others if we wanted to too for extra cost. We have opted for my Birthday a candle light dinner on the beach next to infinity pool (Hot Rock restaurant) it was a fabulous experience with exceptional food and service. This island is one of the biggest on Maldives, but it never felt crowded.
When we snorkeld around the resort, we saw turtles, octopus, rays, puffer fish, sharks. Part of the reef looked absolutely pristine, but large part was effected by climate change. They arrange 3 times a day house reef snorkel trips (15 minuets boat ride) every day for free. Plenty of excursions and ground activities to keep guest entertained. Meeru is lovely place to visit, we will return. These place is prefect for couples only and families as well. "

"This is hands-down the *best* vacation experience I've ever had. Everything from check-in to departure went without a hitch. You don't have to worry about anything at this resort; upon arrival, the reps were at the airport to help with our speedboat transfer, so no being hassled by taxi drivers like at other destinations! There is a wait for other guests from other flights; fortunately we didn't have to wait too long.
Check-in was a breeze, the staff were super welcoming, the Deluxe Water Villa was beautiful, and every meal at the buffet was delicious. Lots of Indian options which I was very happy about. We did the all-inclusive which was very well worth it. Drinks were great and service was immaculate. Honestly no need to pay for the ala carte restaurants since the buffet was more than adequate.
Check-out experience was great also; we left out bags in the villa upon check-out for the staff to collect. Our flight was late in the evening and the speedboat to the airport was at 7pm, so were about to enjoy the resort for the remainder of the day (tip: there is a shower in the bathrooms at the Lagoon Bar, so we were able to clean up before our late flight).
Special shoutout to Khaled at the Sunset Restaurant, who was so nice and made our visit very special.
Told myself that Maldives would be a once-in-a-lifetime trip due to the cost, but we loved our stay so much so we will definitely be back to this resort!"
