"The room was clean and the staff was friendly. However, there was a bag of trash left in the hallway for the entire day, which was not pleasant to see. The mattress was not very comfortable, and the property feels old and could use some updates. Overall, it was an okay stay, but there is room for improvement."

"Great view in our room,able to swim in different pools,had a drink at the pool,staff was friendly, helpful and very nice. The court yard with table and chairs,the was less than 30 yards away and a lot of room at the beach.making plans already to go back !!!"

"My blanket in my bed was disgusting. There was something sticky in front of our door. My daughter and I tried the pool but their were 4 guys smoking pot in the area and ruined it for us. Front desk people were very nice though"

"I love that the property was on the beach and that the queen suite was decent sized! The suite included a full kitchen with stove . The sitting area had a love seat and chair and also included a table. It even had a bed that pulled out from the wall. The bathroom was really tight and unfortunately had a smell. It f"

"Hotel was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and in a great location. Any type of cuisine you could want is within a 10 minute walk along with lots of restaurants serving up local fare. Staff was super helpful and for a hotel that is over 100 years old, it was very well kept and clean. Only complaint is that beds are full size, not queen so be sure to pay close attention when booking. I did not and found it difficult for our party of 3 to sleep in only two beds. Staff was amazing about bringing in a twin size roll away when I asked for one... but it unfortunately was also very uncomfortable. And the Starbucks was closed. Those are my only complaints. Otherwise hotel was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and in a great location. We were only there for a weekend but we really enjoyed our stay in Charleston."

"I must say I’m impressed. The staff was very helpful and caring. Checking in/out was very easy. They made sure to have us clean towels when asked for. The pools were clean and easy access. The kitchen was very well equipped. Also the room was clean. WiFi was working. I have understood that they are renovating so I can’t complain."

"First room was not as advertised it was moldy the appliances was rusted ac was not working an it was very dirty upon arrival the upstairs ac unit was just draining on our balcony . When we told the staff we was just left up to an option of call room service to clean or upgrade to another room. So we upgraded to a king suite an this room had nice aesthetics but unfortunately the cleaning just was not there. Hair was everywhere they seem to use the same towel to wipe down everything so hair just everywhere. smoke ashes all over the balcony with some type of throw up also. Sprite bottle was just sitting on the side of the bed. Was missing a sauce pot but the lid was here also found the frying pan in the oven covered in grease still looks to never been cleaned. Furniture still has crumbs an residue on it an in side of refrigerator was dirty also. So we just got me a room with nice aesthetics but still also dirty. Haven’t been to Myrtle beach in 10 years an I surely will never stay at this location again they just won’t more money thinking they fixed the problem."
