"Very bad experience with Hotels.com
This platform advertises establishments without having the authorization or a contract with the hotel keeper which is completely illegal, and it is the customer who bears the consequences.
During a stay in Dhaka, Bangladesh, I booked one room out of Hotels.com in a hotel from February 2 to 6, 2024.
Hotels.com sent me an email confirming my booking and payment. But when I got to the hotel reception, there was no sign of my booking, and the hotel manager told me...

"Eventhough I have already paid by hotels.com, they still charge me for my stay (double charged). I have emailed them but still no answer after 7 days passed. Bad service. Please check your email and do your job properly. Emailed and called them again today but they give excuses."
