Leaking toilet, poor communication

Informed the front desk about the water leaking from the roof of the toilet, nothing was done and didn't even give me update or option. It seems like the leak is a long term problem as there water stains at the ceiling. When you booked their airport pickup and dropoff, do be prepared that you need to share with other guest and they are charging you USD18.

Like: convenient airport pickup dropoff $18 round trip (book in advance), helpful and pleasant staff, food on 2nd floor restaurant is yummy and high quality, super close to airport, there's a nice coffee shop/restaurant called Gusto like 5 mins walk away, they gave me late checkout Dislike: room quite small and doesn't look well maintained and feels a bit dirty, no hot water for shower (but talked to other guests who said they had hot water), didn't receive room upgrade although Expedia showed I had such benefit My room was facing the main road, could hear noise at night, but I was ok, light sleepers may want to ask for a room on the other side

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Walking distance from the airport. Staff was great and very helpful. Great shower and AC. Very safe. Th staff made my stay better. This hotel is a 10 out of 10. The city of Dhaka is a negative 10 out of 10 so if you’re forced to enter Dhaka I would recommend this hotel and never leaving the hotel. After visiting 150 countries and all their capitals, this city ranks as close to the bottom as it gets.

Overall

A short distance from the airport is the reason to stay. Good for one night. The hotel airport pickup services are expensive. Breakfast is good but also a bit expensive for Bangladesh. I kind of felt they over charge for everything after the room. Staff was super nice.
