Great for tourism

I loved the friendly staff from reception, concierge, restaurant staff to housekeeping, everyone was very attentive. I loved the room amenities and cleanliness. Also, the location is great for tourism. All other high end hotels are further north in Gulshan, which add a lot of road time and traffic to go to the tourists attraction like old Dhaka, Fort, Universtiy, etc. I can only recommend to stay here!

Loved staying at Intercontinental hotel. The best thing about this hotel are the employees. They are genuinely nice, warm, welcoming & very helpful. From my first contact with the hotel personnel through Expedia to the last employee who helped to load my luggage the day I left the hotel, every single person was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was expectional, the room service food was wonderful, though pricy. The room and hotel was neat, clean and very well organized. The hotel was better than a lot of hotels I have stayed at in Canada & USA. One thing I did not like was the price for the shuttle service from airport, which was very expensive compared to Canada & USA, where it is usually free or costs much less regardless of whether they are 4 star or higher. I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I go back to Bangladesh because of the exceptional staff & the quality of service I received.

Loved staying at Intercontinental hotel. The best thing about this hotel are the employees. They are genuinely nice, warm, welcoming & very helpful. From my first contact with the hotel personnel through Expedia to the last employee who helped to load my luggage the day I left the hotel, every single person was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was expectional, the room service food was wonderful, though pricy. The room and hotel was neat, clean and very well organized. The hotel was better than a lot of hotels I have stayed at in Canada & USA. One thing I did not like was the price for the shuttle service from airport, which was very expensive compared to Canada & USA, where it is usually free or costs much less regardless of whether they are 3 star, 4 star or higher. I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I go back to Bangladesh because of the exceptional staff & the quality of service I have received.

Loved staying at Intercontinental hotel. I made multiple reservations for my family & relatives. Everyone loved staying at the hotel. The hotel representative at the airport helped one of us with getting visitor visa when the immigration agent was being difficult, which I appreciated very much. Another reason to stay at this hotel if you are visiting Bangladesh. The hotel personnel who helped me with the reservation through Expedia, went above & beyond to make our arrival smooth & our family reunion special. We were very touched & happy. Staff clearly did not know how to speak to guests in the VIP lounge. They were rude and also didn't tell the tules specifically. I had made a complaint at the front desk to the manager. I am never staying here again. Rooms are nice, but nothing about the stay is worth going back there.
