Don’t pass up this hotel. Heart it!
Nothing short of amazing. The hotel staff is top notch and treated me like a king at every encounter. The Bistro has great food, the fitness centre was well stocked, and the pool was great. A stark difference from a large chain hotel. Pass on Sheraton, Hilton or others and stay here.

I booked Suite Room as shown at the time of booking but reaching hotel we were informed that never had any Suite Room in the hotel so cannot provide. Further I had booked my room for 3 Adults but since could not provide any Suite Room, they charged me USD20.00 per night for extra person. I think that the fault here is from Hotels.com since they have wrongly informed the category on their website.

Everything was good just that the bed sheets were not clean enough. I think they don't change the linen that covers the mattress every time a customer leaves.

Friendly staff, nice room WiFi was pretty terrible compared to US standards. Ended up using my phones 3G, that was pretty inconvenient. But I don’t have much expectations over the country’s broadband connection anyways.

The Best Customer Service in all of Dhaka!
My stay at the Platinum Grande, was a very pleasant surpise. All of the staff are the best in their industry. They are all very professional, very corteous, very kind, very accomdating anbd genuine. Great Hotel with Great service

A decent place in Dhaka
The Platinum Grand was nice overall. The staff was pleasant and friendly. The rooftop pool was very nice. Too bad the Dhaka smog takes away the pleasantness just a bit.

Construction/repairs very loud throughout hotel, room service had to be paid for on the spot sometimes rather than charged to room (so meal would go cold), they make guests feel very unwelcome, minibar items mouldy and not replaced when pointed out.

Was stay for a business trip
I had a business trip to Dhaka and based on the recent reviews I chose this hotel. I don't have any reference point to Dhaka hotels, so my bias comes from my other stays around the world. Overall, it was an OK stay at the hotel. Pros: Room is large, very well stocked. They provide on day 1 with a plate of fruit and 4 bottles of water. They replenish the water everyday, which is nice. Cafeteria is on the 3rd floor. Good breakfast buffet, with a good mix of South Asian, Southeast asian and western food. Hotel staff was courteous and helpful when asked (not very proactive otherwise). Overall, I would rate my stay as OK for a 4-star hotel. Again, with my limited experience of Dhaka and its hotel supply.

ダッカ市内で良いホテルを探すのは難しいのですが、ここは本当にお勧めです。目につくような欠点は全くありません。 毎年ダッカに行くので、これからはここに決定です。 ただ、斜め向かいのdhabaというレストランは絶対に行ってはいけません。

Dishonest Hotel!!!!!
I booked Suite room (claimed having 600-sq-foot) for my staying this and full paid to Hotels.com before I check in. However, I was just being told there is NO Suite room in Platinum Grand. Then when I call Hotels.com to complain and trying to cancel my booking at Platinum Grand because they cannot offer the room I booked, the hotel just telling lies to Hotels.com saying they have already offer me a Suite room so Hotels.com refused to change hotel for me. And at the same time, Platinum Grand told me, Hotels.com has just only booked a normal single room for me. So, they even refused to put me to a bigger room in the hotel. Then after all arguments, Platinum Grand finally change a bigger room for my stay which is around 400-sq-foot. I was totally disappointed with the dishonest of Platinum Grand as they post the room not exist on Hotels.com and they told lies to me and to Hotels.com. I'm sure I'm definitely a loser in this case as I paid for Suite room but in fact I'm just staying in normal double room. I'm disappointed with Hotels.com as well as they are totally unhelpful just trying to let me deal with the hotel myself. Very bad experience!

No hot water for shower and unexpected fire alarm
No hot water for showers in the last two days. The fire alarm ring up for two times in mid night, without any fire. This is my 2nd time to stay, but experience is worse than first time.

滿好的,下次還會考慮入住!
整體住宿的感覺很不錯,服務人員都滿專業的,設備各方面都滿好的,早餐樣式滿多,很豐富!由於鄰近各國大使館,所以周遭環境還不錯,附近也很熱鬧,要購物、吃飯都很方便;只是飯店安排的機場接送收費很貴,建議直接接計程車去!
