"This is the full 5 stars reviews I ever gave. Worth the price. Room furnishings outstanding. In more expensive quality hotels I have stayed in, I can see that every 10 years it needs renovation. Just don't go when Penn State plays a home game. The price triples."

"Huntingdon Motor Lodge offers a good night sleep with out all the expensive thrills of chain hotels. Water is hot for a good shower. They do provide coffee in the morning in the office. Room is equipped with a fridge, microwave and a small coffee pot for in room use. The Motor Lodge is nearby downtown historic Huntingdon with little cafe's restaurants and shops. While in town check out Islett's Museum. Fantastic place to spend a day. There is even a movie theater and the last time I was there you could buy a ticket for the movie, a beverage and popcorn and not go broke. Very good place to stay."

"Over the last 15 years, I’ve stayed throughout town and this hotel remains my top choice. I return to State College about twice a year and don’t bother booking elsewhere. The staff are always, without exception, friendly and the place is spotless. I’m vegan so I don’t really investigate breakfast, but I’m covered between the in-room microwave and fridge."

"I was sort of shocked when my GPS directed me to what was a bowling alley. Then I noticed the signs (sort of small) that pointed me to one end of the bowling alley, and lo and behold there was the hotel. The check-in was a small office, but the staff was very friendly and helpful from the start. As I walked to my room, I was still wondering how the room was going to be. As it turned out, I couldn’t have been more satisfied. The room was extremely clean, and I was surprised to see two bottles of water and four mint-chocolates setting on one of the tables. My surprise continued when I saw there was a Keurig coffee maker to use. I don’t drink coffee, but I thought that was a step up from many of the “budget” hotels I’ve stayed at. I was here three nights, and it was very quiet every night. I had to chuckle to myself how quiet it was, since we were connected to a bowling alley. The beds were very comfortable, and I always had hot water, which is a biggie for me. If you have a sweet tooth, as I do, you can walk around to the other side of the hotel where a Dairy Queen resides. Throughout the stay, the stay were friendly and helpful. As the saying goes, never judge a book by its cover, and I think anyone who stays here will be pleasantly surprised."
