"The hotel is right by the station which is very handy for a multi centre holiday and it is very central for everything you may want to do in Bern. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The roof terrace is beautiful and the rooms are really well equipped really comfy beds and brilliant showers. We didnโt eat at the restaurant so canโt comment on that, breakfast was 40 chf per head which seemed a lot so we used local cafes instead. There was also a 200 chf deposit per night โฆ we were there 3 nights and had 2 rooms so 1200 chf and that was unexpected and seemed steep but it was returned within a couple of days of us leaving- something to be prepared for from a cashflow point of view."

"Friendly and helpful staff; clean well-appointed rooms. We arrived early and were given a choice of taking a warmer street facing-room immediately or waiting for a cooler courtyard-facing room. We took the street-facing. It was fine, although the air con wasnโt the strongest. Appreciated being given the choice."

"Exceptional across the board with one small caveat. Excellent location, spotlessly clean, reasonably priced, safe neighborhood, and very helpful staff. My room was small but exactly what I needed: a comfortable bed, spotless bathroom, plenty of hot water, and adequate air conditioning. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and included in the price. I also loved the rooftop seating area for sunsets and people-watching. Other nice touches: washer/dryer (7 CHF), restaurant next door, small fitness room, 24-hour self-service coffee, elevators, and in-room safes. My only complaint was check-in. I arrived around 1:20 p.m. after roughly 16 hours of travel and was firmly told I could not have my room until the 3:00 p.m. check-in time. I waited in the lobby for about an hour before asking a different front desk employee, who immediately said, โOf course, your room is ready,โ and checked me in. I completely understand guaranteeing rooms by 3:00 p.m., but if a room is already cleaned and available, allowing an exhausted traveler to check in early is simply good hospitality. That first interaction left me wondering what kind of experience I was in for. Thankfully, that concern disappeared quickly. Every staff member I dealt with afterward was outstanding, and the rest of my stay was excellent. I would happily stay here again."

"Super friendly and helpful staff upon arrival. It's a small hotel in reception, but the rooms are a good size. The airconditioning was great. Room and bathroom very clean. Our view wasn't good, but that didn't really matter. Location was fantastic - near to the train station. A wonderful stay and I'd definitely go back."

"Hotel was lovely, great location, nicely decorated, helpful staff, delicious breakfast, very nice shampoo/soap (Rituals). The only thing to improve is having a sink in the bathroom and adjustable temperature in the room. We put the temperature on the lowest setting (20C) and we found it incredibly warm and would cutoff in the middle of the night making it even warmer. We were visiting Bern for a few days so it was manageable."
