Very dirty, spiders everywhere are hotel bed sheets still had hair from the previous guests take a look at the tub in the photo! Cost more money than this damn break chain with breakfast, there was no way we were going to eat that food with all the gnats flying all over the place Way over price this really isn't even worth an Indian $5 hotel. "The room lacked ventilation was noticeably damp and lacked any form of ventilation. The windows suffered condensation and if left open then the monkeys would raid the room for food. The bed felt cold and clammy. Otherwise the location and service were admirable."

"We were tired after a long day of travelling, the bed was the most comfortable so far in our travels in India. We had a great nights sleep. Service was good including giving us a light breakfast at 6 am. Dinner was good also."
"Reception struggled to find our reservation at check in. Room was basic, Very hard double bed. Kettle and a jug of water was supplied at check in, no further water given and room does not get made up.
We were in the main building annexe and it obviously had not been used for some time, smelt and felt damp. I know we are in the mountains and should expect lower temperatures. We were told hot water would only be available 7-10 both mornings and evenings but we had to ring reception several times...
"If I could have less than 1 star, I would pick that for this hotel.
Most of my concerns about this hotel are reported in other reviews. So I don’t want to repeat them but agree with them.
I made a mistake of booking this hotel instead of booking a similar named hotel in the neighborhood that I was hoping to book.
Hotel management is rude and unfriendly. They are only after your money without making any effort to earn it.
My experience was terrible and you are forewarned.

"The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The service was just ok. The property belongs to an old couple. Their breakfast starts at 8.30am which is late for us travellers. Though it was already included in the package i had to leave the hotel without breakfast as i left at 8am. The owner had proposed that at 7.30am he could provide us with bread, butter and jam. But i prefered finding something else on the way. I noticed that they provided with games like darts, badminton etc.. The...

The staff were cleaning rooms; with beds from multiple rooms in corridors; unclean bathrooms, broken bathroom door. Overall, it felt like not managed by professionals."

"This is a resort so expect lots of children at weekends and holidays. However this charming hotel was perfectly adequate for us. If you are of a sensitive disposition, then the noise from the ventilation might drive you nuts, but any seasoned India traveller should be carrying ear plugs on them as standard which ameliorates the situation!"
"This is a property with a breathtaking view of the Ooty huills and valleys. The cottages are good although they now require a fresh coat of paint inside. Food is decent and the breakfast spread is very good and so is the dinner buffet. Hotel staff are helpful and response to the calls is quick. Hot water timings are restricted in the mornings and evenings but that's not too much of an issue. The hotel helped us with a immersion rod beyond the normal timings so that was very helpful. Overall, we had a great stay due to the lovely weather and the enchanting views from the balcony. Highly recommended for those looking for a hotel situated away from the hustle and bustle of the main town with peace and quiet amongst the company of nature and birds."
