"We stayed for 4 nights in September. The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful. Parking was plentiful though it's important to register the car rego to avoid fines. The hotel is conveniently situated with a 5 minute walk to a shopping centre with a M&S and a Morrisons for groceries and a variety of other shops. Across from the shopping centre is the Gyle tram stop with a 20 minute ride right into Princes Street. The room was very spacious and comfortable though the air con was rather loud."

"An inauspicious start, we had to wait over two hours to get a room, and then once we were in, the bathroom sink wasn't working properly. But the front desk staff, including Kenneth, Elly and especially, Erin worked above and beyond to rectify the situations. They accepted the problems as their own and got things working properly. "The hotel was very nice. Enjoyed the deep bathtub with a relaxing bath after a cold day of walking around Edinburgh Castle. The staff was especially wonderful, helping us with questions about the heater and tub faucets. I didn't get her name, but I believe she was the manager or someone in charge, very accommodating and friendly and to Katie at the front desk who was very helpful and always pleasant and friendly."

"The room was good with plenty of room and a large king size bed which was comfortable, Bathroom was good if a bit old fashioned. Staff friendly and helpful. There are a lot of stairs in the hotel, think carefully if you struggle to walk up or down stairs. There were two large coach parties staying so the restaurant was very full and it took us more than 2 hours to get our dinner."
