The George
10/10 Excellent
"The George is in a very central place in Cheltenham, itโs close to all the bus's needed to got to the Cotswolds and beyond. The staff are extremely helpful and give good advice regarding the area. We had the continental breakfast and there was plenty of healthy food and drinks available. We also had some cooked to order breakfasts and these were exceptionally good. On the downside some of the carpets on the stairs need renewing. Overall Iโd give the George 9/10."

"We had a lovely stay at No.131 in Cheltenham. The hotel is beautifully presented, stylish and very clean, with a great location that makes it easy to explore Cheltenham on foot. The staff were particularly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and the service was excellent. Our room was comfortable and well maintained, and the whole hotel has a relaxed but elegant atmosphere. A very enjoyable stay overall and somewhere we would happily recommend and return to."

"Mattresses and pillows were extremely hard, parking is ยฃ5 per night but we got charged ยฃ10.40 for the 2 nights we stayed. Breakfast is advertised on hotels.com as ยฃ8.50 but we were charged ยฃ9.95 by the hotel!"

"Staff were lovely, receptionists very helpful, Sunday lunch was good again restaurant staff helpful and polite our room and bathroom was very clean a few grubby marks on the carpets were a little off putting otherwise a good size room. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet which was well looked after and replenished plus a good selection of hot food from the menu. Will probably visit again soon as we felt welcomed and looked after. Thankyou The Queens for a lovely stay."

"The Hotel was very easy to find just a few minutes from j11 off the M5 The room was very nice very clean with a very comfortable bed. We only stayed the one night , Breakfast was a good selection buffet style choice and the staff were all polite & friendly. We will definitely book again when visiting in Gloucestetv"
