Noisiest night yet!!
The room was dirty and extremely noisy, all night long. I don't think that it was quiet for even 20 minutes. There was a festival several km away so they double the price for an already terrible room. I have been told by people to not stay at the GV hotels in the Philippines, but I never thought I'd regret it.

Overall stay was fine. Very basic toiletries, just shampoo and a small piece of soap. No hot shower (which I badly needed that time), heater is broken. Aircon was good. Overall cleanliness was fine. Buffet breakfast was good.

Close to the public market and restaurants
The hotel staff should have been more aware of the information they need to provide to their guests, i.e. airport transfer. The receptionist could have informed us on the day of arrival that this service was available (she blamed us for not telling them - she should know that most tourists fly to Dumaguete). I asked for a quiet room - we had a room next to the main road.

Close to town
Good size room. No fridge. No hot water and coffee making facilities. But apart from that. Good location. Good value for money. But there was no fridge or coffee making facilities. I like my coffees.

Stayed here for two nights, great location, walking distance to bell tower, 7/11 in front which is open 24 hours, walking distance to Rizal Boulevard, great helpful staff always smiling , special mention to staff Geraldine , most helpful , been emailing here even before my trip & responded very quickly & gave me excellent advise & recommendations , she’s the best ! Only thing , WiFi not working too well, instant coffee & hot water should be in rooms everyday , and should offer free box l breakfast to people who leaves very early in morning ,other than that this is s great place to stay in dumaguete

Check in was OK with hideous loud colours but it is mall and has a huge square pillar in the middle of it you have to keep walking around. The WIFI did not work at all during my stay. They blamed it on the service provider and that could be true. In the early evening I wanted to pour a drink in the room but there was not a single drinking glass or cup of any kind in the room. I had to phone down to get one sent to my room. No shower mat so had to use the second towel as one to keep the floor from getting really wet. Breakfast was terrible choices and you have instant coffee packages with hot water from a dispenser. Food is sitting in tray pans over burners but burners are not lit so food is cold but they will microwave it for you if you want it. Egg station has no fixings just eggs and they will only make scrambled eggs. I went out at 7 AM the first day and got back at 4:30 PM to find my room had not been cleaned. I got a bit angry and complained to the front desk. Ten minutes later the housekeeping guy shows up and I asked him why my room was not cleaned when they had all day to do it. He said "Did you tell the front desk" and had a silly grin; almost a giggle on his face. I told him it was not funny. He said sorry sir. I got fresh towels from him and some water and told him it was OK. I was checking out the next morning never to return to this very poorly run establishment.

Great location to explore town. The hotel felt safe and the hotel staff was very responsive. The hot water wasn't working when I arrived, but it was easily fixed once I told reception.

I appreciate the check in person allowing us very early heck in. Good value for money. Great location , right across the famous Dumaguete Bell tower. I also like the free breakfast buffet with Filipino meal options.

I decided to stay in this hotel based off the reviews I had read from previous guests. When I arrived, I was very disappointed in what I saw. The size of the room itself is ok, but the beds are very uncomfortable, and they give you a pillow that doesn't support your neck. You end up needing 2 pillows to do the job, but they don't supply them. The Shower took 10 minutes to heat up to a luke warm temperature and only after we had to have the staff come to the room. The Phone was never replaced. It was inoperable and the technician never arrived to fix it. So, every time we had issues, we had to come down to the front desk from the 4th floor. The WIFI was also inoperable. And the Front desk agent forced me to talk to their engineer over the phone instead of getting it to work. They claimed it was a service problem with PLDT, but the hotel right across the street had the same service provider and had an excellent speed. I did ask to cancel the reservation and the hotel did cooperate with my request. The Hotel worked with Expedia to process the refund 48 hours after we left. My advice, stay at the Business hotel across the street. Its cheaper, the beds are very comfortable, and the staff is super friendly! Also, for those of you new to Dumaguete, Taxi's don't exist. Transportation is by tricycle. Prices are reasonable, even cheaper than Manila or Cebu.

Great hotel
C&L suites in a newer separate hotel in town where there is already a C&L inn. This place was emmaculate. They actually have hot water and their wifi works 90% of the time which is pretty rare in the Philippines. They even have an in house laundry. Only one complaint no Fox News channel but hey that's not every bodies cup of tea.

If you wanna visit dumaguete, then choose this! It's in the downtown area, close to bell tower & park & walking distance to baywalk. The hotel is worth it, they have free hotel transpo back & forth, yummy bf buffet & a very nice room. The staff are very accommodating & as well as the security guard who helped us in telling the directions and the fare. Great hotel indeed.

Nice Hotel
Hotel was clean with friendly staff and good wifi. It appears the hotel room was recently renovated as new furnishings in the rooms and new title in the bathrooms. I had a single room which was very small but comfortable. Near the bay and only a short distance to the ferry terminal. Also close to the central market, which is worth a walk thru. Hotel has a restaurant and a rooftop bar. I would stay at this hotel again if I ever return to Dumaguete.

Value for Money, Great Service, Great Location
I truly loved our stay and we will definitely recommend it to our friends. For not more than P1,000, we got free buffet breakfast, fast and reliable WIFI, courteous room attendants and a clean and well-maintained room. Their food was good too! And big servings. The location was also awesome. We could get tricycle "cabs" that will take us anywhere for less than $1. Honestly, the only downside was the room not having a hot shower, but maybe that's just me being a spoiled brat. :D Will definitely go back.

ok for a cheap trip
Well, I wanted to be positive and I really hoped it would be good. But no hot water in the bath room for most of the stay, and no attempt to compensate this made it a bit harder. The rooms are simple. The people are okay although the main guy in charge seems a bit more interested in showing he runs it rather than providing a good experience. The location is fine. Breakfast ends early which is a bit bad, but one good thing that not all hotels of this low level has is an ok selection of decent Western TV channels.. So that's ok. All the rooms towards the street are extremely noisy 24/7. Luckily noise doesn't bother me but worth noting.
