"The food and the bar were excellent. Room was small but clean comfortable and adequate. Only complaint was low water pressure for the shower but that did not override the positives. The location was convenient for great golf and tourist attractions. I will go back the next time I am in the area."

"Such a great spot - I stayed here for one night before flying out of Edinburgh the next day. The owners of the guest house truly thought of everything for a very reasonable price, a large Scottish breakfast included. My room was clean, included homemade shortbread, coffee, & tea, and was very homey. Use of the hot tub in the backyard was an added bonus at the end of the evening as well! The town itself is cute and very walkable, the fish at Imries Fish Bar was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Would definitely recommend staying here! "

It was really useful having a microwave in my room - saved me a lot of money on breakfast! It's only about 25-30mins drive from Edinburgh but a lot cheaper than similar hotels in the city."
