"I absolutely love what they’ve done with this place. I’ve been staying at this hotel for years, back when it was owned by other companies, and it has always felt safe and quiet. If you asked younger me, I’d say the food and bar used to be better, but I wouldn’t trade that for the massive upgrade they’ve done to the rooms. I can be a bit of a hotel snob, and this property impressed me. Everything felt spotless—no stray hairs, no lingering smells, none of that “Orlando Water Park Resort” scent I can’t stand. Even being so close to the beach, the room felt fresh and exceptionally clean. The sheets, bathroom, and overall setup were perfect. The food and drinks at the bar were great, and I was thrilled to see my old buddy Melton still working there! What really stood out, though, was how friendly and accommodating the staff was. That made all the difference. This hotel is special to me. I grew up in Sanibel, as my grandmother lived right across the street, and I spent a lot of my life staying here or hanging out at the restaurant and bar. She’s now at Shell Point retirement home just off the island, and on this visit to see her, I decided to stay at the newly opened hotel. I couldn’t have been happier with that choice. From thinking I’d never stay in Sanibel again, to finding an affordable, clean, safe, and welcoming hotel that I’ve seen evolve over the last 30 years, it was an amazing experience. I highly recommend it."

"the cottage was very cute. looked like it was remodeled. very clean inside.the only thing they didn't have outlet to plug my blow dryer in the bathroom. "

"The pool/beach area was amazing! The poolside service was awesome. My only concern was me a senior and friend staying with me a senior were assigned a 4 th floor room with no elevator. It took almost an hour to find a space that had an elevator. Jared the security guy was so helpful. Then for check out the system evidently had an issue and tried to charge me for what I had paid for on Expedia. Loved the resort not the service or convenience "

"The cottage was clean and updated with everything you need, toiletries, kitchen pans and utensils, a full beach cart with everything needed for the beach. I took a few naps in the sun in the hammock. The location is great, an easy block to the beach. The only thing we had difficulty with was the gas grill did not heat up sufficiently to cook burgers. It was an incredible relaxing place for a family vacation, highly recommend it"
