"Lived staying here. The staff are so friendly and hard working, especially Charlotte. She is so helpful and nothing is too much for her. Although the hotel is a bit dated, it goes with the ambiance of the building. I found our room and bathroom clean and cozy. The building has so many areas to sit and relax. We liked it that much we have booked another trip in September "

"Every where in the hotel was very clean and well presented, the dining room was spacious and comfortable, breakfasts were amazing. The bar was also good and although we didn't eat the food looked good. The hotel and bar are very dog friendly. Everyone was warm and welcoming, we really enjoyed our stay. You can hear bird chirping, no road noise, and the gardens are beautiful. The food was fantastic. I can't say enough about the staff. They are amazing and everything you wished a hotel staff would be. They catered to us like we were the only ones there. If you want a quiet place to go to after a day exploring the Borderlands in Scotland; this is the place. Even if you just want a place to relax and unwind for a few days this is a great place to go.
