"Rooms a lovely, if a bit warm. Lovely and characterful - which is impressive for a building which is only 10 or so years old. Only slight downside was the food at night. Which was a bit average. But as a hotel, for the price you pay, can’t fault it"

"We ordered an executive room and were not disappointed. It was a lovely good size room with a king bed. Everything that was promised was there along with a large bathroom. Everything was spotless, the staff were pleasant and helpful and the food was way above par. Thanks for a nice few days."

"Absolutely loved our weekend at the Dower House! Amazing location surrounded by nature, the building is so beautiful and our room was huge and had every comfort. All the things you don't find in chain hotels are here - four poster bed, comfy sofa, coffee table and chairs sat amongst a wonderful backdrop, dark and quiet at night for a great sleep. And not to forget the amazing and genuine owners, Tim and Rosemarie, and Teresa who served a great breakfast "

"The room was very nicely presented, light and very cosy and warm. The staff were very helpful, kathy helped us out lots and assisted us with whatever we needed. Access to the pool and various spa activities was a good addition as well. Lovely place and well recommeded, will deffinetely stay again. "
