"The staff was excellent. Friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our safe twice, but it was resolved in a timely manner. The pool was warmer than i would have liked, but it was clean. The Water in the ocean in front of the resort was not the beautiful turquoise like we love, but was told it was the time of year that we visited. (August). we rented a car, so we were able to visit many other beaches that were just beautiful."

The Sunshine Hotel and Suites

The Sunshine Hotel and Suites

8/10 Good
"My experience at Sunshine Hotel and Suites was more than great! The room was clean and spacious, the bed was huge and very comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bathroom was clean and well maintained. We had everything we needed in the room, and the location was very convenient. There were plenty of food options nearby, and having access to the Westin across the way was a great added convenience. One thing I did not expect, however, was the $900 USD incidental hold required at check in, in addition to the resort fee. When booking through Expedia, I only saw the resort fee mentioned and did not see any information regarding the $900 hold. I believe this should be clearly included in the hotelโ€™s policies and booking information to help avoid confusion or surprises for future guests. Aside from that, I was very pleased with my stay at Sunshine Hotel and Suites. The staff, accommodations, location, and overall experience made for a great trip, and I would definitely consider staying here again in the future!"
