This was a unique sleeping and eating experience combined! The rooms were absolutely stunning, and the fact that you were sleeping on a large ship with such wonderful history, made it a unique experience. I highly recommend this to anybody traveling to Edinburgh.

An amazing experience recommended for that special occasion. Hotel is super high quality. Dinner and Breakfast were exceptional. The only negative was a particularly noisy table on Saturday night for dinner but they left after a while and it was a much more pleasant experience!

The breakfast was delicious, it was lovely sitting in the dining room looking over the beautiful deck where you can sit outside and enjoy a drink or coffee in the sunshine. We spent one night for our anniversary everything was exceptional the staff we so good the cocktails are out of this world.Breakfast was great.Beds are super comfortable and in room facilities were 5star.We didn’t dine in the restaurant but walked to one that was recommended around the corner Ship to Shore which was also fantastic.Cannot recommend this place enough.

The property is of course, unique by design. There is no actual lobby, only the bar/restaurant on the 3rd floor. The service is excellent, the employees very cheerful and helpful. The deluxe cabin was adequate. The room had everything you need--mini-fridge, good shower, etc. There is no shelf space in the bathroom, so we had to keep our toiletry bag nearby. The location is a bit out of the way--not a great amount of choice of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel does offer a ticket to the Britannia, and that was a well appreciated perk!
