Good value for money
Bare bones but overall pleasant stay. Only downside - its a quite noisy street with roosters starting their wake up call before the sun is up.

The room condition was okay but the bathroom was not cleaned before our arrival. There was still items in the show from the previous guests. There was also a lot of water issues during our stay which was not great when we got back from island tours or needed to get ready in the mornings to go out. The overall accommodation is okay but the staff were very friendly despite the property issues.

Great hotel. Very close to the beach. The hotel is done in a traditional style. We were particularly impressed with the internet connection. El Nido is infamous for its poor internet, but this hotel has excellent and reliable internet. The lady is working there was just amazing, super friendly with a great attitude. The air-condition was good as well. Thoroughly satisfied with the place and especially the service.

Ok, no special to add, expected better only good thing was the air conditioning and about 15 to 20 minutes walk to the beach. The receptionist was helpful giving general directions.

The overall setting and ambiance was excellent; very quaint, friendly and clean. April & Lloyd were very helpful and always cheerful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were very good. I highly recommend CED Pension House.

Toilet wouldn't flush. Shower didn't work. They switched the water off at random and inconvenient times throughout our stay. Breakfast was average too.

Island above average
Located just far enough from the beach area to avoid rowdiness but close enough to only be a few mins walk away made CED a good spot for us to stay. It was definitely more quiet and considerate compared to other places we saw in the area. There were roosters however that seemed to think the sun was coming up every 15 mins but it became white noise eventually! As with many island lodging there were bugs and humid conditions that is kind of unavoidable in this area and type of lodging but we were out and about all day so for a place to rest after long days of island hopping it worked OK for our needs. The breakfast was great!

Comfort away from home
Service was amazing. Definitely felt at home during our stay. Place is clean and quiet -- away from the crowd.. but close enough to walk to get to the city center. Breakfast was amazing ! The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Definitely recommend 👌

Great Service in very local hood.
El Nido is known for random power blackouts. CED had one of the only generators in the area...or at least it was the only one willing to use it for the comfort of their guests. Within minutes, they fired it up and brought us floor fans because the generator couldn't support the A/C units. The girls managing the hotel speak decent English and seemed to be on duty 24/7. CCT/cameras around the building and the girls keeping watch on the hotel entrance was a bonus, but at no point did we feel unsafe. Bfast was adequate. Roosters made themselves known. You're close enough to the main town, but far enough where you can't hear the noise. The girls offered to arrange trips and have scooters delivered to the hotel. They were very accommodating. If you're looking for a 4/5 star hotel/resort, you won't find one in El Nido proper. If you're looking for a clean place, with good a/c and welcoming service, CED is a great option. Read the other reviews keeping this in mind...I suspect some "western travelers" are out of touch with expectations of this area.

Bei Ankunft kleineres Zimmer, wie Beschreibung.Klima ohne Funktion. Wifi ohne Funktion. Am folgenden Tag Zimmerwechsel, danach stand das Bad unter Wasser, bei Reklamation kam nur ein Sorry, sonst nichts, aber ich habe bezahlt dafür, ich weiß nicht wie die zu so einer Bewertung kommen, da kann was nicht stimmen, das schlechteste was ich auf den Philippinen erlebt habe u. ich bin seid über 2 Mon. da. Über die bekannte Lärmbelastung will ich gar nicht mehr eingehen. Die letzte Nacht verbrachte ich, um die Ecke für weit weniger Geld komfortabler, trotz 4 Bett -Zimmer. Die Bilder sehen immer super aus, Leute Last Euch nicht täuschen, ich kann nur warnen davor……

Inte för en längre vistelse
Rekommenderar CED Pension främst för backpackers och för folk som vill stanna enbart några nätter. Det låg nära till centrum och "turistgatorna"men gatan utanför hotellet var väldigt livlig med mycket trafik, lokalbefolkning som bodde utanför och det var minst tre tuppar i huset mittemot som gal ofta och mycket. Hotellet hade ingen bra isolering (väggarna var i bambu) vilket gjorde det väldigt lyhört och man kunde höra folk prata utanför på gatan. Dåligt med eluttag på rummet, väldigt trångt, inget bra tryck i duschen. Sängen var dock väldigt skön, relativt tjock madrass. Personalen väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam, de hjälpte gärna till med att boka transport och båtturer m.m. Väldigt bra wifi för att vara FP.

Autentisk miljø omkring pensionatet - vi elskede det, men præget af små kår. Søde og rare mennesker overalt. Tæt på verdens bedste strande via bådture og kørsel tæt ved. Mange unge rygsæk rejsende. Fint internet og værelse, skal tages for det det er, som overnatning uden myg og fin aircon. Vi havde et fint ophold🙂
