I love the staff in Isla Amara. They were there for us through and through during our 5 night stay that turned into 6 night due to storms. Kate, Rochelle, and other staff were superb. Thank you everyone for such great service.

I like the hotel. They really try their best to make your trip enjoyable. The only issue we had is when water supply didn't work but i don't know if this is related city wide.

Nothing’s unique in this hotel. Bed is good, clean and comfortable; breakfast is a buffet which is also good same as the other hotels. The only thing that i don’t like is when we are going to our island hopping tour. The front desk staff told as a day before that we will leave the hotel at 8:30am. The next day at 8:30 we are at the front desk and the staff told us “ma’am, since there are only 2 of you who are going, you will take the tricycle to the port”. I was shocked, since I paid for the trip including the van ride to the port. I asked if she can arrange for a van, but she kept on saying no, you will take the tryc. As if to appease me, she said, no worries ma’am, you don’t need to pay for the fare, we’ll take care of that. I understand that they are the employee and they are just following the hotel’s policy, but at least she should try to solve the issue. But no, she went to the easiest way out. For the amount I paid for the tour, it’s not fair and not worth it. There are still other things that I noticed about the hotel but I this is just me, the price of the hotel is not worth my money…I will not recommend this hotel to my friends or to anybody.

We expected much better. Room was not ready for 45 mins past our check in time so had to wait, then when we finally got into the room, there was no duvet on the bed! Bathroom has broken tiles on the floor, dangerous if bare foot. Rain water coming in through ceiling and noisy people through out the night, banging metal chairs? Pool was also really dirty. Would not recommend.

schöne Lage, aber der Charme fehlt

Das Hotel ist ideal gelegen für einen Aufenthalt am Lio Beach. Grundsätzlich ist es ein sehr schönes Hotel, trotzdem fehlt teilweise etwas an Charme und es fehlt am einen oder anderen Ort. Der Raum für das Frühstücksbuffet fehlt der Charme. Während des starken Regens hat es in unser Zimmer getropft. Die gute Lage, der Pool und der Gratistransfer empfand ich als positiv. Man könnte aber sicherlich mehr aus dem Hotel machen.

Das Isla Amara war an sich ein super Hotel. Allerdings hätten wir uns für den Preis mehr erhofft. Das Frühstück ist jeden Tag fast das selbe. Am Pool gibt es nur wenige Liegen. Wir waren 8 Nächte dort und die Bettwäsche wurde kein einziges Mal gewechselt, was man bei den Temperaturen eigentlich schon erwarten könnte. Das Wasser in der Dusche war leider nur wirklich warm wenn man den Duschstahl reduzierte.Die Umgebung ist wirklich schön es gibt viele Restaurants man ist direkt am Strand und auch ein Yoga Studio oder Spa findet sich.
