I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I booked it for its reasonable price but it far exceeded expectations. We were visiting family in chester over Christmas, and there were no hotels available in the city centre, although this was a little far out the drive was very easy and quick parking was good and the hotel was clean and friendly. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

The room i stayed in was great comfortable bed fridge,microwave, toaster kettle you don't get that at any hotel. The fresh home baked bread you get on arrival is fantastic. I thoroughly recommend Holland house to anyone looking for somewhere to stay i will be using it again in the next couple of weeks 👍👍😀😀

We loved this place, possibly the best find we have had on here. Very reasonably priced, very friendly staff and the food was amazing value. Next time we are in the area we shall look here first.

Room was spotless, it was en suite with a bath which was amazing, had to pay for breakfast which was enjoyable, came with a deal to have a main meal the night before with either a srarter or dessert, which you were spoikt for chouce. Sraff were really polite and very helpful. Will go again

Hotel is tired, carpet, curtains and fixtures are tired and need replacing. But there were plenty of plus points, room and linen was clean, 3 beds in the room and still space for luggage, desk etc. Heating in room was not good and room was cold but they must already be aware as additional plugin heater was supplied. Plenty of useful plug sockets, shower was decent, plenty of towels and pillows. Hotel was low occupancy so quiet but that suited us. Huge car park and great location for Chester, Elmsmere port and Liverpool and despite being on busy road really couldn’t hear traffic. Staff friendly and attentive. Restaurant and pub are attached to hotel so very handy but didn’t suffer with noise from the pub. Breakfast starts early and runs for a few hours, all cooked fresh for your order, plus continental and hot drinks for £9.99. A comfortable stay on a small-ish budget, would recommend

Clean, tidy and warm.

Overall very good. Room was clean and tidy and quite easy to get warm. Usual problem of accessing soap when taking a bath rather than a shower - not everybody wants to be deluged by an overhead shower.

Honestly i didnt have high hopes for this place. Was just a little night away so glad we booked it. The rooms were very spacious and clean everything we needed in there aswell. Even tho its by a main road we couldnt hear anything. Check in was quick and easy. We had food an drinks in the bar at sround half 8 food was great fab prices aswell. Cocktails needed abit of work but i think the young bar lady was new so im.sure she will be great eventually. We had breakfast which again was lovely an was just £15 for 2 all u can eat full english and the mushrooms were bloody delicious!! We will definitely go back here!! Thank you for a great experience
