"It was on a quiet back street within 3-4 minutes walk to the main street. The staff were efficient and friendly. There were great dining options nearby and it was a short walk to St Kilda beach and the sea baths."
"Love that the business has a history of Australian art, having connection to Mirka Mora, art gallery director and well known art collector. So good to see ongoing paintings of all sizes and contemporary styles in the rooms and hallways.
Stephen at the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable - a delightful person. "
"they need to do a lot of Maintenace. g
Guttering falling off. Rooms need a fresh coat of paint and carpets replaced. Oven dirty, still had old foil in the bottom."
"Serviced apartment was quite spacious. Parts of the apartment were run down. Some of it looked nothing like the photos, particularly the kitchen and bedroom. Old, thin, single pain glass windows like paper in terms of noise reduction. "
"This hostel is so cool! The people and staff are very friendly, rooms are spacious with very comfy beds and a funky outdoor area and a relaxed, chilled safe feeling environment! Would recommend! "

"We had a free upgrade to a family room which they rang in advance to offer us, and waived the car parking which was lovely if them to do after we'd been driving for 10 hours. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. The hotel restaurant food and service was great."
"Great hotel with a great staff ftom the top down. Great location in a happening part of town, a very short walk to the beachlfe. Bright, well lit roomy rooms. Restaurant and bar serving delicious meals and snacks.
Super comfortable beds. A good value. "
Saint Kilda Beach Hotel (formerly Rydges St Kilda)
10/10 Excellent
"Over the four days, I found the staff to be charming and helpful. The air con was perfect. It was clean and I felt safe. Cafe great too. Big mug of coffee. Will stay again"
"The location of the property is perfect and size of the room was great, but it really lacked beyond that especially in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. All of the plates, mugs and glasses were dirty, the phone was hanging off the wall, the walls scuffed with stains on the carpet, the bedroom window did not open and although having a washing machine in the room was a good addition there was no dryer and only a small old rusted clothes horse. I wasn't expecting it to be 5 stars, but surely being clean isn't too much to ask."
