"I have had the great pleasure of staying at COMO Metropolitan Bangkok since 2006, shortly after the hotel first opened, and I have been returning ever since. There are many reasons this property continues to stand out for me, and every time I try to put them into a review, I find myself running out of space — which says a lot. What has always impressed me most is the consistency. Year after year, visit after visit, COMO Metropolitan Bangkok has never disappointed. The hotel continues to deliver on every level: thoughtful management, excellent value, beautiful contemporary design, seamless check-in and check-out, and a genuine sense of pride in the upkeep and presentation of the property. Even after its most recent remodel, the hotel has retained what has always made it special: clean architectural lines, understated elegance, and a calm, refined atmosphere in the heart of Bangkok. COMO has always understood contemporary design, but design alone is not what makes a hotel memorable. It is the people. The management team deserves tremendous credit for continuing to hire and retain such devoted, cheerful, and highly professional staff. Their hospitality is impeccable — warm without being forced, efficient without feeling rushed, and always sincere. For me, COMO Metropolitan Bangkok remains one of those rare hotels where value, design, service, and consistency all meet beautifully. "Flawless stay from start to finish. Love the newly renovated design, with spacious rooms, excellent in-room amenities, and beautiful views. The bed was extremely comfortable, and while there was a little street traffic noise, the soundproofing was good enough that I slept well every night. The infinity pool was a great bonus too; it still felt like a proper place to swim laps, which is rare for a city hotel. The direct link to Dusit Central Park mall, which has plenty of restaurants and a supermarket, making it very easy to grab a coffee/ meal without even going outside."

"I recently stayed for 5 nights at SO/Bangkok and had a fantastic overall experience. The views from the room overlooking Lumphini Park and the city skyline were absolutely stunning — waking up to that every day was a highlight of the trip. The pool area is beautiful, with an amazing atmosphere and incredible views that make it hard to leave. Breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety and quality that set a perfect tone for the day. A special mention goes to the staff, especially at the Club Lounge. The service there was exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They really went above and beyond to make the stay feel special and comfortable. That said, one area that could use improvement is the condition of the rooms. While still comfortable, there are noticeable signs of wear and tear that you wouldn’t quite expect from a 5-star hotel. With a bit more maintenance and upkeep, the experience could easily match the high standard set by the service and facilities. Overall, I would still highly recommend this hotel for its views, service, and amenities, and I would happily return."
