"Room was not properly cleaned before check in "

"The hotel was clean & spacious, however, the room was not in the best condition. The restroom door locked was broken. The water was warm, not hot. The stove did not work. Other than that, the room was okay. The valet parking was not convenient at all. It was super crowded and packed during check-in & check-out. When checking out, one of my group member’s car key was misplaced & it took the staff 10-15 minutes to find it. It also took about 30 minutes for them to bring out one of our cars. With $27 valet parking, it was not worth it. "

"Parking was very easy, staff was kind and professional at check in. We were offered a welcome drink which was nice. We stayed two nights, the first night our neighbor was very noisy but the building got quiet after about 11:00pm. We were upstairs and could feel in the floor if folks were walking by, at one point someone ran by and shook the whole room. Would probably ask for a ground level room next time. Access to heavenly was great. A very easy walk, maybe a half mile to 3/4 mile to the shops from the inn. Room was clean, bed was very soft and plush but comfortable. Coffee maker and small fridge in the room. Overall we had a good experience and we slept great. Would stay there again. "

"Our family came to Lake Tahoe to snowboard at Sierra-at-Tahoe and Palisades. Location receives an A+ We enjoyed walking to the beach and the casinos after a day on the slopes and the food choices close by were sufficient. The pool was closed. The hot tubs were cold on the first night, but working fine after that. The front desk staff was warm and friendly. A good value for our stay."

"Arrived to find there was no self parking available on site or nearby, only valet for $40 per night. This was not communicated in any of the pre-arrival messages or booking confirmation or we would have packed and prepared differently. Then, when retrieving our vehicle at the end of our stay, the valet attendant brought my car out, parked it, then walked right past me waiting out front and disappeared. I had to go back to the valet desk a second time to find out where he'd gone with my car keys. Not exactly 5-star service, nor representative of a $40 per day value. But the extra fees did not end at the valet stand. Of course, there is the $50 per day resort fee (plus tax), and a $50 to $75 (depending on who you ask) per day fee to bring your pet to this pet-friendly resort, and $25 per person to access the continental breakfast buffet. Each of these, on their own, may be reasonable, but when the daily fees amount to double the room rate, things have surely gotten out of hand. Having stayed at many of the adjacent properties, I have never experienced this level of compulsory add-on charges, and would expect the service standards to be similarly elevated, but unfortunately this fell far short of my expectations."

"Super clean, short walk to ski lift"

"Room was clean and good condition. Staff was really nice and friendly. They do serve continental breakfast(egg sandwich with sausage, yogurt, waffle maker, cereal) Couple things to mention specifically about room #233 - exit door was not closing smoothly(we had push really hard to make sure it was closed, water pressure was low from the shower, also if you want more privacy and quieter room 233 might not be the ideal since it is connected room. You could hear conversation in other room even though door was closed. Overall was good since we were there for 1night for our ski trip. "
