Das Zimmer war schön und sauber, nur das Fenster ist zu hoch eingebaut.. man konnte kaum die schöne Aussicht sehen. Das personal ist sehr nett! Das Frühstück einfach, Wurstplatte nicht ansprechend. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt voll okay.

Staff was outstanding. The whole facility is spotless. Very good food. Great value for the dollar. Stayed here in 2005 and back yesterday for one night. Will come again. Emmetten is like no other place on earth!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer war groß und sauber, nur leider läuteten die ganze Nacht jede viertel Stunde die Kirchenglocken. Im Restaurant wurde man freundlich bedient und das Essen war gut.

We stayed here on our way to Basel for New Years and it was a quaint little hotel near a skiing hotspot. The fog in the area was quite thick so we unfortunately couldn’t take in the beauty of the area. The breakfast was rather limited compared to other places we stayed and parking was across the street in a shopping plaza lot but close enough not to be inconvenient. There were only a couple of restaurants that were open nearby and most people were in town for the skiing. Sad we couldn’t take one of the cable cars up the mountain in the morning, but we literally couldn’t see anything more than 10 feet in front of us. The price was more reasonable than hotels directly in Lucerne which was fine for us since we weren’t there to ski, only a pit stop on our way north to Basel. We did stop in Old Town Lucerne the next day and enjoyed lunch in a delightful cafe!
