"Nice cosy hotel, well located with friendly, helpful staff. Apart from a lovely breakfast they offered afternoon tea and coffee with cakes ( fika) and an evening buffet meal. Definitely recommend. "

"Staff where wonderful, rooms well kepts and clean. Great location for the center. Plenty of places to go, see/eat right out the door. Both breakfast and front desk staff were friendly and polite! My only qualm, as a brit, the cups for hot drinks were just too small for a proper brew and I'd prefer more pillows. Other than this an excellent place to stay."

"The breakfast was excelent with more choise than I have ever seen, freom fresh sliced. Melon to fully cooked via bread and jams and cereal. The reception was always manned and the staff were always had a smile and were very helpful. Position was central and a short walk to the centre."

"A clean and centrally located apartment with absolutely stunning views, we couldn’t have asked for better. The Grand Apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. Our code to unlock the apartment door didn’t work on arrival and at 21:00 we were panicking a bit however the security number picked up instantly and assisted us to gain alternative access. The luggage storage is a very good price compared to luggage storage companies in the centre as it’s 100nok per apartment and not per person or bag. As we had 4 bags it worked out cheaper so worth considering, especially how easy it was to use. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Tromsø. "

"Everything was great"

"We stayed in Room 701 and it was outstanding. As a corner room, it offered breathtaking views over the city, fjord/harbour and mountains, and we were even able to see the aurora from the room when it was active. The décor was warm and stylish, the room spotless and cleaned daily, and the bed very comfortable. It was a little warm at around 20°C, and the thermostat didn’t seem to lower, but opening the window solved this easily. The room was also very quiet. Facilities were excellent, including a minibar (charged), kettle with teas/coffees, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, safe and reliable free Wi‑Fi. The lifts were fast and rarely busy. Breakfast was exceptional with a huge selection and is definitely worth adding to your booking. The lobby, bar and dining areas were beautifully decorated. The rooftop bar was closed during our stay, but you can still access the rooftop itself, which made for a great place to view the aurora. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had no issues during our stay, and the hotel happily stored our luggage after checkout while we waited for our late flight. The location was perfect, with most tours departing about a 15‑minute walk away. The cable car is around a 30‑minute walk, but it takes longer because the views are so stunning you keep stopping for photos! Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely stay again."
