"I don’t think the pictures here do the hotel justice. We spent nights on the balcony enjoying the view over the vines and valley. Staff are friendly and present. Pool is good size and more sunbeds available to use on terrace. The sunbeds could do with updating (quite uncomfortable). The small kitchen unit in the room was handy if you choose to self cater. I would have loved more luxurious towels and pool towels too. Minor criticisms though for a super hotel. There’s some super restaurants...

Having confirmed parking is a major plus in an area where parking is hard to come by. I stayed in the studio apartment and the pullout bed was surprisingly comfortable. I would recommend nine rooms. "This hotel, although a one night stay was incredible. Everything from the beds to the robes were very comfortable and the view was just amazing. "Stayed in the hot tub suite. Hot tub was clean and a large size with beautiful views of the mountains and the castle. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel itself was central to the train station and attractions. We stayed for the wine festival and had a brilliant weekend. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was decent with lots of cold food options. There could have been more hot food. I was surprised to learn that the spa entrance is not included."
