"Solid stay as usual. The core building is quite old so a lot of noise from the windows and draughty. But it is located really well and @ £12.50 the breakfast is very good value and quality"

"The breakfast is cooked to order and excellent. Room lovely - in need of tarting up in places but very clean which is the main thing. Most of the staff were great. Just one female staff member was a bit rude to my partner about letting him through to the accommodation when the key was with me. Only one key per room so hardy our fault. All the other staff were excellent - helpful polite and friendly. Very central location for town, cathedral and short walk to the river. Overall a lovely stay and would recommend."

"We stayed room only. The room was very clean and had all the amenities you would expect. Lovely quality bathroom products too. We ate in the resturant and it was very tasty with lively staff in every interaction. Great cocktail menu too. Would recmmend in all aspects. "

"I booked 2 rooms, one was much bigger and was better than the other but both adequate for 1 night. The bathroom in the smaller room was unfinished but totally usable. The shared facilities were good, lovely lounge. Beds were not that comfortable to be honest. Garden and outside areas looked lovely, a bit too cold to use unfortunately. Good quiet location and parking on site. Fridge, microwave and kettle in room was nice. We ate at a nearby restaurant called Lot 25, very enjoyable - good communication from Willingham House. Thank you. Park and Ride to Cambridge only ~2 miles away. "

"Comfortable room, bed, pillows, heating. Excellent breakfast for such a comparatively small number of rooms. Not made sufficiently clear that there is no en suite on the single room, but in fact the single use bathroom opposite is probably larger than you would get as an ensuite. The lack of reception staff is disconcerting, but the key codes work."

"Would love to be able to give a higher rating because there is lots of amenities in room the staff were friendly room serviced daily free WiFi lovely big garden birds and trees and in a great position to explore Ely. It was quiet and dark. Unfortunately the place stinks of stale cigarettes which as a non smoker with heart and lung conditions is very off-putting and means I wouldn't stay here again. The room was very dusty with questionable stains on the carpet and linen and yellowing paintwork. There was black mould in the shower. My bathroom was tiny but adequate. The bed base looked like it was made of wooden pallets. It is rather dated and in need of a deep clean and a refurbishment. It could be excellent with a little tlc. "
