Wonderful stay. The couple who owns this place are lovely. The hotel is immaculate. Viking house dinner was all very good. Better accommodation than in Geiranger.

Fantastic hotel with amenities and character
Fantastic experience! Nice large room with many amenities including communal jacuzzi and lounge. Highlight is the three course viking themed dinner every night (extra charge) with each delicious course accompanied by a story. Lovely relaxed vibe. Conveniently located between Geiranger, Andalsnes, the Sunmore Alps, and Alesund.

first time visit to Norway
Ole the owner/manager was a great help to us. He provided us info to use the ferries and he really helped us a lot with our phone. All the staff was also very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Excllent breakfast. Be careful when you approach this hotel, there is only a little sign on the road next to the driveway, if you blink you will miss it like I did!

This was a completely unexpected find! While booking our trip in Norway I could not find a hotel that was available in Geiranger. Since we were driving in from Alesund, I just back tracked along the road until I found Blåtind Boutique Hotel. Looked unassuming in the pictures but I decided to give it a try. This place is amazing! This property is amazing! We arrived just in time for dinner which was a delicious 3-course meal all sourced locally. Our host, Ole, announced each course and it was paired with a delicious wine. We stayed up to almost 2:30am chatting with guests while Ole continued to attend to us. The surroundings are absolutely gorgeous. They have a hot tub for us and many places to sit and just enjoy the scenery. The room was very large, clean, and comfortable. It is a little over an hour drive to Geiranger (with one ferry) so it was easy drive after a great nights sleep (well, maybe I had too much wine). We loved it so much I asked to stay another night and Ole was able to accommodate us. I would love to stay here again!

the hotel is very clean and modern. Loved everything about it. They have hot tub, bathrobes, slippers. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast was the best. So beautifully served. Even candles on the table and lots of food. Only TV had 3 channels in Norwegian language. Nothing in English.

Absolutely exceptional
I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. The view, the staff, the food, the ambiance.... this was one of the most exceptional places I have ever stayed. Tell "Magic" at the front desk hello and ask him to give you local hiking recommendations.

Beautiful hotel! A little off the beaten path, but worth the extra drive. Staff is extremely kind, helpful, and will go out of their way to assist guests. Rooms are spacious, clean, and have extraordinary views. Breakfast was fantastic and included in price of the room.

First class accommodations in serene mountainous environment. Convenient location between Atlantic Ocean Road and Geiranger. Wonderful night’s sleep under the bed’s “dyna,” especially with mountain breeze coming through open window. Woke up to an incredible breakfast and easy conversation with Ole, the very personable owner of the property. If you’re in the area, stay here. Even if you’re not in the area, make the drive and stay here. You won’t be disappointed! Your experience here will only add to your memories of this beautiful part of Norway.

holy cow! the ride to this place is majestic, mystical and the most awesome experience you can have in your life, trust me I travel a lot and this was amazing. the hotel itself is nice, cozy and the owner really tries to take care of his guest to the best of his ability. the property has amazing views, had visitors from all over the world and had a large portion of the game of thrones staff stay here. I strongly recommend this place.

This was our favorite stay while in Norway. The views from every room are phenomenal and wish we could have stayed longer! The outdoor hot tub was not open when we arrived but would have loved to use it. The hotel is run by a sweet couple who make sure your stay is genuine and personable. We were shown around the entire property and learned a lot about their story and about Norwegian traditions. If we are in Norway again, we are definitely coming back to this gorgeous hotel!

Absolutely perfect! A small boutique hotel truly intended for complete relaxation. The owner was extremely accomodating and dedicated to the happiness of guests. Dinner was amazing! And fairly priced. The rooms were very spacious (we stayed in a junior sweet), the jacuzzi extremely relaxing, and the open areas great for unwinding and soaking in the views. Breakfast was delicious with so many tasty options. Can't recommend the hotel enough. Perhaps the best stay our 10 day trip in Norway. We even got to meet the owner's sweet little daughter. Wishing them all the best!

I cannot say enough good things about my stay here. The facilities are all clean, new, and luxury feel. The hosts/owners go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience and have everything you’d want and need. It’s a great location, great for snow trips in winter, or summer <45-60 min drive to Geiranger fjord for water fun/hiking! I 110% recommend!

This lodge is run by a very kind young couple who really go out of their way to make you feel at home. The interior is beautifully decorated, the lounge area was lovely and comfortable and equipped with coffee and tea at all times, the breakfast was outstanding, the room was sparkling clean and comfortable. This place is a gem!

Net boutique hotel, relatief duur voor wat je krij
We hebben als verrassing een flesje champagne gekregen hetgeen erg attent was. De kamer was zeer ruim opgezet. Heel erg netjes en schoon, goed onderhouden. Jammer vd badkamer: een bad ipv een douche, waarbij alles om het bad heen nat werd. Badkamer ziet er verder wat ouderwets uit maar dat kan kwestie van smaak zijn. Verder is het erg jammer dat er geen koelkast is. Ontbijt was vers, maar zeer beperkt. Bovendien is de aanvangtijd vrij laat namelijk vanaf 8 uur. Overall gezien is het vrij duur voor wat je krijgt.
