For the price this was a great find. I only stayed the night before an early flight and it was great. Staff was friendly during check in & check out. Bed was quite big and perfectly comfortable. Only downside was that if people were in the halls you heard them very clearly, but Ibis provides earplugs for the rooms so it works out.

Water kept spilling out of the shower and onto the tile next to the sink. We had no soap in either dispenser given to the room. Mattresses are more like bricks so if you like a firm mattress it’s for you. The first man who checked us in was very kind and polite, but the second man checking us out was curt and let other people interrupt our conversation about getting to the airport. Shuttle was on time but there’s limited seating so we had to fight other guests for a spot that we had “reserved”. Facility was clean for the most part which was good. But there’s no way to get food from vending machines by card. They’re all purchase by coin/cash. No restaurants were nearby or open, so we had to get a pizza from the machine outside (which turned out pretty decent). Overall was a fine experience but could’ve been better.

A brief overnight stay due to an early morning flight to Liverpool. Clean and comfortable but with no bar or cafe, only vending machines. A 15 min walk from Charleroi airport so convenient if you’re travelling from there.

Good budget hotel - has everything you need and 3 prior beds (with bunk) per room which was nice - only issue was that you have to pay for breakfast in advance and it finishes very early.

It’s cheap and basic. I have to say that the gentleman on reception had so many people queuing and asking questions even at midnight, but he remained polite and helpful. He was a credit to the company. Bravo monsieur.

No receptiveness neither from hotels.com, nor from the Ibis. I booked the hotel far away from my location by mistake and the idiots didn’t want to cancel it, neither the hotels.com didn’t want to move the night to my hotels.com email. I have paid for nothing. Thus the worst possible experience with ibis and hotels.com.. will be moving to another platform to do bookings..

Wonderful stay
I stayed there for 6 days on a business trip and I was very pleased. The Hotel is very clean (bed sheets, towels... etc.) and the staff are super nice frankly speaking. Remember it's not only an IBIS Hotel, but also a Budget one, so don't expect anything fancy or to find anything other than the standard stuff, hence it would be very convenient for short business stays. They have vending machines for very limited food and drinks. However there's a gas station nearby (15 minutes on foot) with wider varieties. It's not noisy as other reviews claim. I'd recommend it ;)

They should name this hotel - Disaster Hotel
Transiting from Brussels we opted to stay at this hotel for 6hrs. We were a total of 3 adults plus an infant. Our flight arrived at 8 pm, we called for a taxi and arrived at the premises around 9pm. The front desk reception (didn't speak English despite the claim they do), greeted us by telling us that he cannot give us the room due to the fact that we had an infant with us and requested us to book another room. We explained that we were transiting and will leave in 6 hours and if the infant was the problem, one of us can stay in the lobby. He kept on blabbing something similar to English but refusing to check us in. The reception offered a full refund, got the receipts from the epos machines, left the premises and in the meantime booked another hotel doing this at 5 degrees with drizzling rain close to 10pm. Despite I was issued a full refund, next day I got charged and when I called this hotel the lady answering told me that this was hotel policy, since the booking was cancelled after 8pm. Until writing this review I am still in contact with Hotels.com to get a closure on this issue.

We are very sorry for this unfortunate situation, however, it is very clear on all booking sites that our rooms are for a maximum of 3 people, children included and these do have to be enforced. Unfortunately, due to the current situation and following official guidelines, we would not have been able to let a person stay in the lobby area for such a long period of time. We understand that the pandemic is causing a lot of problems for many people and our top priority is to keep all our guests safe as well as our team members and count on your understanding of the situation.
