Transiting from Brussels we opted to stay at this hotel for 6hrs. We were a total of 3 adults plus an infant. Our flight arrived at 8 pm, we called for a taxi and arrived at the premises around 9pm.
The front desk reception (didn't speak English despite the claim they do), greeted us by telling us that he cannot give us the room due to the fact that we had an infant with us and requested us to book another room.
We explained that we were transiting and will leave in 6 hours and if the infant was the problem, one of us can stay in the lobby. He kept on blabbing something similar to English but refusing to check us in.
The reception offered a full refund, got the receipts from the epos machines, left the premises and in the meantime booked another hotel doing this at 5 degrees with drizzling rain close to 10pm.
Despite I was issued a full refund, next day I got charged and when I called this hotel the lady answering told me that this was hotel policy, since the booking was cancelled after 8pm. Until writing this review I am still in contact with Hotels.com to get a closure on this issue.
