We loved the hotel. The staff was attentive and added personal touches that took the stay to the next level. The evening wine happy hour was a hit. We generally had dinner around 7:45 each night, which meant we had time to have glass of wine or two at the hotel before dinner. The staff was caring, generous, and always helpful with taxis or recommendations. We would love to stay here again, and the location is perfect. It might be the smallest hotel at which we had ever stayed, but it was charming beyond belief, and we had a wonderful time. Ciao!

This was a great small boutique style hotel. The location was centrally located and had great views of the Duomo from the window! The decor is excellent and posh. The staff were friendly, especially Agnus and Julia. Breakfast was wonderful and happy hour is a special touch. Our room had some AC issues, but our children’s room was fine and much cooler than ours. There are many stairs leading up the hotel itself so if you don’t like elevators or cannot walk up many flights this is not the hotel for you.

We had a good start to the stay, we were allowed early check-in, and received a bottle of prosecco as the expedia member perk as it was my birthday on check-in. The location is excellent and convenient to come back to freshen up in the heat. The aircon seemed to struggle a little to reach the temp it was set to, which could be problematic for people used to sleeping in the aircon in the heat. We unfortunately booked for 1 instead of 2, and we're charged 30 euros per day, 4x the amount of the price difference, so be careful of any additional charges here.

The place to stay when in Florence

We had a Junior suite, room 4, and it had a lovely balcony which we used more than expected with its view of the top of the Duomo. Clean room, good towels and bed. Nice atmosphere. It was a joy to get to this hotel and we've never met so friendly and helpful staff in any hotel. Got some recommendations on spots to visit which actually became the highlights of our trip. Location is amazing, just two blocks from the Duomo. In the evening between 6-8 PM they offered free wine and snacks.
