The hotel location is convenient, being in walking distance to major attractions. Hotel itself is good, albeit our room AC unit leaked the first night and we needed to call the hotel staff for a technician to fix it; it was taken care of the next day. Everything was great afterwards, including the provided the breakfast and room service.

Such a lovely place to stay! Everything was perfect and the staff was so kind. The terrace unfortunately wasn’t clean enough to enjoy but honestly we were not there as much as we thought. I’d stay again! Breakfast options were nice but light. Still happy with adding it to the room upgrade. Best little candies at the front desk!

The B&B Galileo 2000 is situated in a perfect position to explore Florence, all the must see sites are within walking distance, the room we had was the 'Romantic' room and was plenty big enough although there was no view from our window other than into another property, the room was cleaned daily to a high standard. Would recommend as an ideal place to stay as it's so conveniently situated.

I love this place! Roof is really high and the room feels a lot larger than it already is. The decoration is beautiful and has a lot of character. I would definitely stay here again. Great location.

The absolute best about this hotel is its central location (with regards to train station, places to visit, shopping and dining options) and its staff friendliness. If you are looking for a clean, centrally located hotel , offering all the basics you need (breakfast, wifi, drinking water supply, housekeeping), look no further, you are at the right place. But if you are looking for full fledged hotel facilities (spa, gym, pool, etc...), keep searching.

Had a wonderful honeymoon experience at this hotel! We checked in late, and it was no problem what so ever! Such a beautiful room! The location is amazing, the nightly atmosphere is phenomenal! Our room was amazing, had a beautiful balcony that overlooked the square! Did not partake in the morning breakfast but it looked great! Would 100% recommend this hotel for any occasion!

The location was ideal but the property was older rundown and the management is poor. Most of the time there is nobody there we were giving a ring of keys to get in and out because the touchpad was not working consistently. The coffee machine was broken the tie back hookfor the curtains was broken and fell out on the floor so they used a big squirt of caulking and taped it to the wall with a piece of masking tape. The shower was poor only had glass covering a third of the opening so the floor would get wet every time we shower. The pillows for the floor as well as the white sheets had stains very poor up keep maintenance. In the US this would be an 85 dollar per night hotel

It was an amazing experience and the room was absolutely beautiful. We had the junior suite with the jetted tub. The staff was great and the area was perfect! My only concern was the smell that came from the bathroom every night when I was trying to sleep. Not sure if it was just old plumbing but I had to close all the doors because it was overwhelming. Again only happened at night which was strange. Besides that small problem everything was great and would absolutely stay there again!

A Bad Start

I was charged in sterling for this stay and had to pay a mark up for conversion. The receipt said i had been offered a choice of currencies. I was offered none. Reception said they couldn't explain this or help me remedy it. A really bad start to the stay.

What a beautiful accommodation in the San Firenze Piazza, in the middle of the historical center of Florence. Walking distance to everything Firenze has to offer. Cannot pay enough compliments to the wonderful staff. Federico took care of us like family. When we arrived there was a problem with our room, Federico upgraded us for our entire stay. We didn't mind moving several times to whatever room was available... including, for several days, the amazing, elegant and spacious canopy room overlooking the piazza. We got to experience all the charm and comfort of each spacious room. The buffet breakfast was excellent in the lovely breakfast room. Self serve cappuccino machine and a wide variety of fresh pastries, fruit, cereal, juices, hard boiled eggs, cheeses and meat, etc.. The train station is walking distance but the stop for the bus to and from the station is just around the corner. Galileo 2000 is a charming property and interestingly, shares its walls with Leonardo da Vinci's house where the Mona Lisa was painted. Grazie Mille for the beautiful stay Federico.
