The property itself was a nice boutique type hotel in the perfect location for Florence. I loved the old world charm of the building, the rooms and even the elevator. While it's not a 5 star property it definitely made our street in Florence that more memorable.

A unique boutique hotel, with wonderful stylish interior, in a fabulous location within the walking distance to every city attraction. Staff were absolutely lovely and helpful, ready to book you a dinner table, advise on the best bars in the city and remind you to take umbrella if it’s a chance of the rain. I felt very much looked after. Loved my stay and will definitely be back.

This is such a charming hotel! I highly recommend for the central location (steps away from Ponte Vecchio), friendliness of the staff, and comfort of the room. It had this vintage feel, in an elegant way. Feels very Italian! I would definitely come back here.

Location, the best, next to Piazza della Trinità, very quiet, lucky when you hear a streer orchestra, enjoyable. The ladies assisting are so nice and kind. My favorite place to stay. I promised to comeback and stay in the same place. Grazie

Borgia di Firenze shares the building with other properties. It is central to everything, so convenient. We were serenaded every night with an opera singer practicing his craft in the square. Our favorite restaurant was literally 10-15 steps from the hotel. Small elevator; great room with modern amenities; don’t expect the typical lobby that is staffed around the clock. Did not know what to expect but were very pleasantly surprised. We’ll stay here again when we return to Florence. Hopefully Borgia di Firenze will be available then.

Excellent customer service. This is my second trip to Florence and my first time at this property. From phone calls weeks before I arrived through my departure, they provided friendly, efficient, and prompt customer care . The room was large and clean. The location was perfect. I will be back. I would recommend it. I was a solo traveler who stayed at the property 7 nights.

It was love at first sight when we entered the property. We were warmly greeted by our hostess and sat in the beautiful living room while waiting for our room. The glass chandeliers were stunning. Our room, the Ophelia” was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the artistic touches. Our only concern was the antique wardrobe and table and chairs. We were worried that that we would damage them if not careful while using. The bathroom had space for our toiletries and the towels were the absolute best. Location is perfect! A quick walk takes you to many dining, shopping and sightseeing spots. Our favorite thing about our stay was sitting by the open window at night, with a glass of wine, and enjoying the music from the street below. “Con Te Partiro” will forever remind me of Florence.

This is not a hotel, and we felt misled by the room advertising. The room we were given had no proper windows, just 3 very high windows that required a stick to open the plywood shutters. We were extremely disappointed on arrival, but was told by the receptionist that all rooms on this side were the same and there was no opportunity to move to a room with a proper window. We found out later, that this was not true, and that our room was the only room with this situation. After some complaints and attempts to make this right, we were offered to move to another room for the second and third nights, but would have to move back for our last night to our initial room. We stayed in our room, as moving twice during our vacation was not preferable, so the management did offer a discount for this lessor room, which we accepted. We received our refund as promised. The vibe of this accommodation is not great, however the location for exploring central Florence is perfect. Due to the buildings around, there is nothing they can do about the window issue in this room, however this should be disclosed in the room advertisements, and priced appropriately. At least you can make an informed choice before booking. We would have stayed elsewhere had we known what we would be getting. We will not stay here again based on this lack of transparency.
