Il Perseo is an excellent mid-priced, centrally-located option in Florence. Dont get freaked out when you arrive as the building and facility looked a bit old and worn, my room was beautiful and bath was spotless. The management and staff were just terrific in terms of directions, restaurant recommendations, etc. The breakfast is standard but quite good. For the price, this is a great value in an expensive, touristy Italian city!

The location was convenient. I could walk easily to sightseeing and restaurants. The staff helped me to find places to eat. They helped me with reserving a ticket to the Uffizi and gave me great tips on places to see in Florence. The room was kept nice and clean. It was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful.

Their location was tremendous and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Don’t let the initial look of the door/gate and the elevator discourage you from staying here. There is some much to do nearby that we didn’t really spend much time in the room but he certainly checked the box! I would definitely recommend staying here.

The Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Location is great, and close to many attractions by walking. Also close to train station, which was helpful, easy to get to from airport. Hotel has elevator which is great! Breakfast is simple, but good enough to start the day! Had a great experience overall.

Room was very clean and comfy, as was the bathroom. Plus room looks just like the picture so no surprises! The check-in person was super friendly and helpful. Also appreciated that there was an elevator! Lastly, can’t beat the location! A block away from the Duomo, and surprisingly quiet in my room that faced the busy street! Would stay here again!

The staff is friendly and professional, the hotel administration was very friendly, the reception staff were on the lookout for us before check in. The location is undeniably one of its great successes, although room touched us was in the quieter part of the hotel, being in an old building when using the bathroom, you could hear how the water ran through the pipes.

Location is everything. Right in the middle of all the action. This is a great place to make your base and walk to everything. Friendly staff, nice breakfast, 24 hour front desk, fresh laundered sheets, daily room made up, elevator to the 3rd floor for check in. All in all an excellent place.

We loved our weekend stay at historic Hotel Perseo! Our top floor suite had an amazing view of the Duomo and was like a small multi-floor apartment with everything we needed. It was well kept and the breakfast inclusion was a great amenity. The convenient location in the city center was a definite benefit. I would highly recommend.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly & helpful. They had our room prepared & let us check in early. The hotel was very clean, central location to everything, & offered free breakfast. The buiding is also felt very safe with their security system in place.

The location was perfect. The staff was great. The breakfast did not have alot of variety. I didn't like that you had to turn in your room key every time you left the room. They did let us check in early for one of our rooms.

Dear Roxana,Thank you for the feedback, I am glad there are many things you did enjoy. We offer a continental breakfast in the morning which has various cereals, breads/toast etc, yogurts, fresh fruits, cold cuts, hard boiled eggs, cheeses, vegetable, nuts etc, brioche/pancakes etc, juices and various teas, hot chocolate and all types of coffees. It isn't an international cooked breakfast. Most people think there is a good choice. Enjoy the rest of your holidayHappy safe travels

The staff was beyond amazing. The room and bed were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was amazing, the staff made fresh cappuccino or espressos upon request, and a great variety of options from delicious pastries, fresh fruit. antipasto, breads, jams and jellies, boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, nuts and dried fruit. Our only criticism is the shower, we managed to get the whole bathroom wet each shower, no shower curtain. But that was nothing, we would stay there over and over again.

We stayed there with a 17 month toddler, room was very tight. We smelled cigarette smoke almost everyday which bothered my son a lot during his sleep and we weren’t sure where it was coming from. Breakfast was pretty basic, staff are outstanding and very friendly. Location is phenomenal, everything is very walkable. Overall clean and safe.

We could not have possibly been more pleased with this amazing hotel. The hotel was quaint, clean and maintained the feel of staying in an ancient city! Our hostesses and hosts made us feel valued, welcomed and safe. Fabulous breakfast spread every morning including fresh baked pastries, fruit, etc. and coffees made by our dear Anna who knew our preferences after one day! We stayed in the family room which was large and comfortable. The beds abs pillows were great and the room had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved how close we were to the centre of Florence but felt very tucked away in the hotel.

This hotel definitely met our needs for a reasonably priced stay that was just steps away from the Duomo and the central historic district of Florence. The rooms were clean, and the included breakfast was very good. The downsides I would say is that the rooms and shower are small, and in our case, the TV did not work. But overall, I was more than happy with this hotel for the price and would recommend it to others.

Great property in a very good and safe location. From the train station, it is just a 10 min walk away. Museums and Academy all within a mile walk. Do book your tickets ahead though. Many restaurants and shopping and the Duomo within a block! Reception is very friendly and gave good recommendations. Would definitely return and stay here again!
