Carpets weren’t vacuumed super clean as my wife was kept coughing from dust allergies and a couple of light bulbs were out of function. We didn’t bothered to ask for a replacement but the hotel can take a look into it for other ..."

"Overall the stay was excellent. We booked W Hotel to take our 9 month old baby to stay in Taipei and visit great grandma. Traveling with a baby is no easy task and we requested in advance for a crib, steam sanitizer, and a baby bathtub. All items were already in the room when we checked in.
During one of the nights, there was an event in the hotel which was loud enough that the baby was not able to sleep. After 20 mins of crying, we went to the front desk for assistance. The hotel manager and staff were able to to lend us another room for the event period that was quieter for our son to fall asleep. That was very nice of them!"
"Although Shangri-La Hotel was quite full & packed over the weekend, the service was up to standards. It is my 2nd stay in 2021 and it is one of best five star hotel in the Taipei City area I've ever stayed. The Breakfast Buffet is also among those with lots choices and great taste/quality. Although the building isn't one of those fancy new hotels in the area, it is well maintained and doesn't show much wear. I'd recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing and full service 5-star hotel stay in Taipei. "
