Amazing stay at this hostel! Clean rooms and linens, nice bathroom connected to room. Breakfast was very good. Close to walk to everything. Great restaurants close by.

This was an ok place to stay (family of 4) - two parents and two adult children. Clean, you check-in at the bar and they were very friendly and helpful when we needed a very early cab to airport. However, it is quite noisy to try and sleep at night and seems to be a place for much younger adults, especially with the bar below. First night, there was no hot water (may have been due to maintenance being performed on building). Thankfully, next two mornings, we had hot showers. Beds were not great; make sure the slats underneath are evenly spaced. Makes for a much better nights sleep.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Ostello Bello. There were literally film crews coming to check out the location while I was there — it’s genuinely that great. Won’t be the most comfortable bed of your life but for a hostel? Fabulous.

I cannot speak highly enough of Ostello Bello. The location is perfect, the staff is very friendly, the hostel itself is wonderful with an app you use to access the property and your room. They held a pizza night my first night there, which was great for meeting other guests. It is definitely a very social hostel. I would absolutely stay here if I visit Florence again.

One of the most convenient places to stay in!! It's about an 8 min walk from the Duomo, 15 min from the Accademia Gallery. The 24 hr staff are friendly and accommodating. I had to check out at around 3 am to catch my flight, and they helped me call a cab. I felt safe staying there too! Overall, I'd stay their again the next I visit Florence💁‍♀️👍✨️

When we arrived our room had not been cleaned. We returned to the desk, they apologized, and issued us a different room. There were some used towels hanging in the bathroom, but everything else was clean. We had requested 2 beds when booked thru Expedia, but property said they didn’t receive that information, and would have cleaning staff correct it the next day. Cleaning staff was kind and fixed the beds for us. We purchased breakfast with our stay. It was simple, but adequate, and worth the convenience.

Room was basic and tired looking. Comfort was good with dark curtains, high threadcount sheets and firm mattress. Not really for older adults because most guests were in their twenties. Tiny bathroom and no minibar so impossible to keep medication refrigerated.

It all was going very well until the very last night (I spent 4 nights at the hostel) where one of the rommies seemed to have arrived drunk accompanied by someone not staying in the hostel. They starting to kick the door and force the door lock. I contacted the staff but received no response. Gladly it ended up being one crazy roomie but it showed the little security and poor control over who enters the building. Apart from the disturbance suffered by several people at 4AM in the morning.
