This is a great option for someone visiting Florence and who doesn't need a lot of amenities. The location is great (a block from the Duomo); check-in/out and communication were all very smooth.

We had a great stay. The location is central and walking distance to all the main tourist attractions. Check in was very straightforward and the host made sure we had all the directions ahead of time. I would definitely recommend to annoying looking to be in a walkable area.

Staying here put us right in the heart of Florence, on the Main Street connected to the major tourist attractions and high end shopping outlets, so it was quite loud, but it was an extremely nice room.

Great location. Is not a hotel with a concierge. The check in was rough and disorganized. Orher than that , a strategic place to stay since its close to santa matia de fiorence, train terminal, and palazzio the veccio. Also, shopping its all around.

Excellent Location.

Excellent Location, that's around the block from the cathedral. Many cafes, restaurants, and shopping all around. Short walk to major museums and train station. Room had high ceiling, comfortable bed, and view of Via Roma.

Less than 100m from the Duomo this room is in a fantastic location. The only issues to be aware of are that there are floor boards that are buckled that could be a hazard for some but it is only in one small area. Room is small but location makes up for it. The shower has good pressure and the free drinking water was appreciated. The bathroom is very small but adequate and be aware the lights come on whenever you open the door which is not ideal at night. Also note some rooms (not ours) have shared bathrooms.

Was fine for one night but would not stay again.

We had two rooms. Rooms were very clean and big. AC units were old though and did not cool the rooms below 25. Door codes were provided but did not work half the time so we had to keep room keys with us at all times. WiFi does not work well in rooms luckily the retail stores below have WiFi that reaches. One room had a very firm mattress and the other room smelled of cat urine. Property is very centrally located which was very nice.

Amazing location! Everything we wanted to see was in walking distance...shopping and restaurants everywhere, two minutes from Piazza della Repubblica, two minutes from the Duomo. Location could not be any better! We were travelling with our adult children so had three rooms, all rooms were comfortable and had all the amenites we needed. Check in and check out was super easy.

Everything was great and the location was perfect. My only feedback is that there aren’t any mirrors other than the one in the bathroom. Really need a full size mirror and/or an alternate mirror. It was hard when my husband was in the shower to use the mirror.

Location is the best, between railway station and Cathedral. There is no front desk in hotel but do not worry about it. Samuel & Paolo, hosts of the hotel, are helpful & reachable. They provided us with their WhatsApp phones & met us for check in. Thank you.

Fantastic location. Old building with old working elevator. Bare bone room, external bath, room code didn’t always work so needed a physical key, good AC, TV didn’t work, good internet. Notified staff that the shower didn’t drain well, but was never fixed. Overall good enough for a solo traveler.

Beautiful rooms, excellent location.

We were very skeptical at first, since it is an old building and the entrance/elevator remains as if time had stopped in 1936. BUT once you open the first door to where the rooms are, we come back to our time again. Rooms are comfortable, beautifully decorated, and perfect location, baring in mind that you are close to a very transitted area, and thus, noises (not unbearable) are possible, as well as the church bells. The administrators answer messages promptly and professionally. We will deffinetly come back!

Overall, clean and centrally located. The building is very old and loud. The first door to all the apartments slams and rattles the apartment door. The water heater and bathroom appliances are also quite loud. The overhead lighting was uncomfortably fluorescent.

The location is central and it is convenient to access the city center. The room was incredibly small and right above a busy street with zero sound cancellation or ability to block out light. People were yelling and partying until 4 am and it was impossible to sleep. After a 22 hour travel day, this was NOT the place to be. Also, breakfast was a piece of packaged toast and Nutella, not truly a B and B. No staff on site to ask questions or share concerns.

Nice hotel near Duomo. Good location. Duomo sqaure is just outside the hotel within 2 minute walk. Florence is so compact and walkable, you would probably be close to some attraction with any hotel in the area. This one is close to the most famous attaction. Room and bathroom were nice and clean. The hotel is inside what looks like a nice historical building. Check-in needs to be arranged on the phone since there's no staff on site. A good place to stay for a visit to beautiful Florence which is probably the most beautiful town we visited in Italy. Everything including all attractions are walkable if you are OK with walking a few km a day. The hotel doesn't have breakfast although it is a B&B. It would be nice if it is included.
