"The room was clean, staff was really helpful and attentive. Parking is limited near our chalet. The kitchen had all that we needed. The fridge was newer than other places. The only thing that didn't work in our chalet was the oven. The bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was a bit small since we stayed in a studio. I'd recommend this place because it's near big bear lake."

"Hotel charges guests an additional $14.00 dollars per day for parking unless your handicaped with a placard. The bed in the accessible room we stayed in was very low and you had to fall into bed. When you went to get out of the bed it was very hard to stand up. Breakfast was not very good. They need to have more variety of meat instead of turkey sausage every day."

"I’m somewhat mystified by the five-star reviews of this property. It was reasonably clean, but our room had a musty “this was a smoking room for years” smell. The bed was comfortable enough. Nice large modern TV. But otherwise the facility is VERY outdated. The fixtures and furnishings felt like circa 1990. Not old enough to qualify as quaint, just outdated. And to be clear, this is a MOTEL. Parking is about six feet from your door. We heard voices outside the door and through the walls of adjacent rooms. We won’t return."
