"Perfect place to s t ay if you're going to Texas Motorplex"

"Good place to stay"

"Helpful staff, clean rooms, good location"

"Very comfortable bed and great breakfast!"

"Local hotels had no vacancy so I gave this place a try and boy was I happily surprised! We stayed in the cottage which was quiet, cool, delightful, and spacious. The owner and manager were very kind and hospitable. The English Merchant's Inn is within walking distance to the central city where we enjoyed great breakfasts, long walks around the shops, and a shady return path along the hiking/biking trail to the Waxahachie historic cemetery. I highly recommend that you skip the cookie-cutter...

"I enjoyed my stay."

"Nice place, we’ve stayed there before and will in the future. Only issue was we had ants in our bath towels. Otherwise it was a nice stay. Thank you. Dr. William J Conlee lll"

"The room was really spacious, clean and well kept. Everyone on staff that we interacted with was friendly and helpful. I absolutely recommend this hotel. You won’t be disappointed!"

"We stayed there 15 years ago and it was a lovely experience but most if the fun things have been eliminated (i.e. zip line, barn dances, food). It's pretty isolated with no food available at the location but a real good cafe in Grandview (R&K) for meals. Hayliegh the office person was very helpful."

"I enjoyed my stay."

"Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, safe and quiet for solo traveler. Easy off and on the I-35 freeway. Complimentary easy parking."

"Good hotel for the price"

"Property looked to be freshly remodeled and was very clean and nicely set up. Property staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved how they informed us of what was around the area to do and to eat etc. Beautiful property! 10/10 recommend."

"The hotel is under construction, but I could tell it was going to be very nice once completed. The room is large in size and was very comfortable and very clean. Right off the highway and in a convenient location. I would definitely stay here again."
