"This was a family trip with my wife and two sons. The room was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our four large suitcases, which we packed for a three-week stay in Europe. The second issue was breakfast. While the quality of food was excellent, the cost—48 euros per person—felt excessive unless you’re being served salmon and caviar. Staff acknowledged others had voiced similar concerns, but the response was essentially, “Sorry, that’s the price.”
The hotel itself is pleasant, quiet, and just a 10-minute cab ride from major attractions. But without access to the pool, I likely would have chosen the Athens Gate instead—comparable in comfort and location, and about 20% less per night."
