The property is extremely kid- and family-friendly. They have everything you need to keep your children entertained and provide special supervised activities at the pool. The food is excellent and the service is unmatched. The property itself ranges from brand new to needing repairs in some areas, but nothing that affects your stay. If you stay in the new building, there is a bit of a walk to most amenities. The front desk staff was excellent, led by Marcelo. At meal time, Yamila provided amazing service with a smile. We had a great first visit to Brazil thanks to the staff.

There are two different buildings - and apartment type rooms building seems more recently built, and this info was not able to find in the hotels.com it would be better to show, the difference of the rooms according to the building location

We have been to recanto 2 times already, and we loved the resort. Very comfy, spacious room, with minibar and nice bathroom. The food is expensive for its quality. Buffet is surprisingly good, wide range of food too. The outdoor thermal pool is huge, they rent you towels. Indoor poor is somewhat cold and dingy but its OK. There is a kids park ourside which is well equiped. I think the resort is awesome to visit w kids. Even if the resort is pricey, our first choice will always be recanto.

We love Recanto. The staff was accommodating of our early check-in and a few other special requests. The food (especially breakfast!) was delicious. We loved all the different pool options and the morning fitness classes. Our only wish was that the whirlpools on the bottom level were a little hotter. We hired a guide for Las Cataratas through the hotel, and they were top notch. We would also highly recommend booking a treatment at the spa during your stay. It was the perfect way to unwind in the middle of a long trip. It felt like vacation on vacation!

Uma hora sem ar condicionado (estragado), filha de 11 meses com sono e calor, apĆ³s viagem longa para chegar em FĆ³z, essa foi nossa entrada ao hotel. ApĆ³s esse fato, nĆ£o nos pareceu que a adm do hotel (Marcelo) tenha achado algo fora do comum, houve descaso por parte dele. O hotel tem diversos serviƧos muito interessantes e Ćŗteis, mas a divulgaĆ§Ć£o/comunicaĆ§Ć£o para o hĆ³spede Ć© pĆ©ssima. Por exemplo: (1) eles fazem e entregam comida para crianƧa de atĆ© 4 anos que possa alguma restriĆ§Ć£o, o serviƧo funciona muito bem, mas sĆ³ ficamos sabendo por uma outra hĆ³spede. (2) Foi aberto um novo restaurante na Ć”rea nova do hotel, o que tb nunca nos foi passado, mesmo em momentos de fila nos restaurantes que Ć­amos, o conhecemos no Ćŗltimo dia. Os funcionĆ”rios parecem ser todos muito bem intencionados e preocupados com o hĆ³spede, mas a administraĆ§Ć£o do hotel peca em treinamento e acompanhamento, pois por diversas vezes tivemos que aguardar desnecessariamente por algo: bebidas no jantar sĆ³ chegaram apĆ³s 3x (40min) pedido e ao me levantar e ir atrĆ”s do garƧom, filĆ© com fritas (na piscina) chegou apĆ³s 2 horas (MESMO) de pedido e tendo que ir atĆ© a cozinha perguntar. Mesmo na Ć©poca em que fomos, considerando o valor que pagamos nĆ£o precisarĆ­amos passar por situaƧƵes como essas. Em tempo, o hotel tem prĆ”ticas de higiene e limpeza muito boas, como esvaziar a piscina principal e limpa-la todos os dias na madrugada.

Fiquei pela segunda vez. A primeira vez tive uma estadia melhor. Nessa vez tivemos alguns imprevistos. Primeiro o quarto que colocaram nĆ£o estava funcionando o ar condicionado. Pedimos a troca e demoraram para resolver. Quando foi realizado a troca fomos pra um quarto o qual a elĆ©trica nĆ£o estava funcionando direito. Eles ofereram o upgrade de cortesei para o quarto com problema, porĆ©m eu fiz o pagamento para 2 quartos de upgrade. Outra questĆ£o foi a comida para as crianƧas, a falta de informaĆ§Ć£o dos funcionĆ”rios fez com quem a comida demorasse 1hr para chegar. Alem disso falta um pouco de informaĆ§Ć£o sobre o que tem no hotel, como restaurantes, serviƧo de babĆ”, entre outros.
