"Easy parking. Clean and comfortable. It will be good if reservation number can be provided in advance but when ask thru they answer quite fast so overall it is great including the self check in"

"excellent bus links to Mainz Hbf, Mainz Kastell and Mainz Romer stations, easy walk across the bridge to Mainz Kastell too so easy to get the S-bahn to Frankfurt, Frankfurt Airport and regional trains to Darmstadt and the Rheingau- a group day ticket which is for a max 5 adults was the best value for money and less than a single ticket in UK usually..
Easy walk to the shops and Dom platz too as well along the Rhein to all the various Tor Strasse.
Staff attentive and overall very good. We stayed 15 nights. There were 2 days our rooms were not cleaned, and a few days that only the sink being wiped, towels folded and bed made and cursery vacuum was done but I think thats more a reflection on only 2 young men having to do a full floor by 2pm and most people not being there for a full holiday but rapid turnaround of flught crews. I ended up wiping down the dusty bedside tables myself (left clear to make it easier for them) a couple of times.
Some of the other guests were airline staff who were obnoxious in their entitled attitude towards the hotel, overtaking reception when they arrive, and when using the lift, such as crowding the door and not standing back to let people out, squashing you physically with their luggage or overly large bodies (Delta especially) but that isn't the fault of the hotel."
"Great size room overlooking the river. Nice pool/Spa area and easy underground parking garage. Bar area and restaurant looked lovely with lots of natural light. Very comfortable stay. "
"Overall, our stay was good, but there were a few things that could’ve been better, we arrived a few minutes early and they wouldn’t let us check in, had to wait at the lobby, then even though our room had two bathroom doors only one of them had handles and lock the other one had been removed and the door was basically locked (which is fine as you still have the other side to go in and out) but the one where there was a handle got locked and wouldn’t open, my son went in and couldn’t open it from the inside, went down to get the lady at the front desk and even she couldn’t (we tried different ways), she calls her manager and he okayed to break the door to be able to open it, so, we had to push it until the door broke at the lock and we stayed with a broken door and lock. Other than that, our stay was good. "
"Love the location and ease of access to the city. The room was very comfortable and functional for working. The dining options were unimpressive in the hotel and held odd hours. But I felt safe and comfortable and had great sleep! Would definitely stay again! "

10/10 Excellent
"Indulgent option near Frankfurt airport if you've got an early departure or late arrival. Everything is high end, and the balcony rooms are worth the splurge. Mainz is a fun little city as well."
"Great trip to Rudesheim and very pleasant stay at Traube Hotel for 2 nights including breakfast. Comfortable room with all necessary facilities including kettle for making cups of tea. Good communication with staff who are very helpful. Excellent breakfast and good local restaurants.
Convenient for river cruise."
"Great location, within walking distance of plenty wine shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and check in/out was easy! Thanks for a great stay, looking forward to coming back. "
"We've stayed at Hotel Hammer several times... and we will keep going back! An easy train ride from Frankfurt Airport and the hotel is directly across the street from the train station. We get greeted warmly every visit and much of the staff now feels like family. The rooms are comfortable and very quiet with special windows to reduce the noise. Breakfast is very nice with a coffee machine so you can make your own latte or cappuccino! "
