The hotel was very close to the airport which is what I was looking for. It’s very very convenient. It was very clean and pillows were ok. The mattress was not to my liking but perhaps some people will find it comfortable. The actual room itself was more like a futuristic prison cell. Nothing wrong with it, it was just kind of plain and barren. It doesn’t bother me, but if you want a homely sort of room this will not live up to your expectations, unless your usual home is a prison.

I stayed here at the airport because all the hotels near the lake were booked. But I found out the staff is great, the property is pristine and both the bus and the train have stops right outside their door. You can get to either end of Friedrichshafen in a few minutes. The next time I come to Friedrichshafen I will stay here

This hotel is within walking distance of Friedrichshafen Airport, especially good for the 6.30am flight to Frankfurt.

Weary from a very long day of international travel, my son and I were so thrilled to step out of the Friedrichshafen airport and see that the Hotel Ibis was only a quick walk across the parking lot away. The evening desk clerk checked us in quickly, and then he was also our server when we came down to the restaurant for a meal before bed. He was incredibly kind to us, especially in our jet lagged state. The room was on the small side, but sleep was all we needed, so no problem there. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with many choices. We highly recommend this hotel. The price was reasonable, it felt clean and safe, and my favorite feature: its proximity to the airport.

Huge disappointment!!
We did not enjoy our stay at IBIS at all! First of all when we arrived, the bed wasnt really made up and there was only one pillow. There was hair in the shower cubicle. After going to the reception, the receptionist told us he will bring the second pillow himself. When we asked about the bed and the room he was rude and told us it is what it is because they are only 3 star budget hotel and he never had a complain before for 3 years he is there, i really doubt that! We paid over £80 per night and it is also miles away from the city aswell. We just stayed in IBIS in Londow Heathrow the night before, it was a 3 star aswell but they made us feel like at least 4 star (the staff was great, comparing to this one) and we only paid £52. On their room description it also said there is a safe in the room and ironing board, we been told the safe is on reception and ironing board on first floor. Also aircondition didnt really work aswell, which we didnt want complain about aswell just to be told its a 3 star budget hotel. I ve been to other IBIS before around Europe, but this was my worst ever experience with IBIS! Please change the room description to avoid customer disappointment!! I would not recommend this place to anybody! Just to clarify we been staying in many hostels and budget accommodation before but since we paid so much money for this room we expected much more!!

Another generic Ibis hotel. This one had a nice restaurant and friendly barman, as well. Good price-quality ratio. Parking is 7 euros/night which I'm not sure I'd read in the original description.

Far, but peaceful and opposite metro rail
The hotel is like few steps away from metro, thats good. The town is on the other side of the hotel, so if u are coming by bus makesure you get down way before...check maps for more info. Its Neat,clean, peaceful. Also there is one restaurant behind the hotel, which has the very best pizza, so dont forget to try. One important thing, hotel is like 1.3 hrs far from the town, so if u are fine with taking metro and spending some time travelling, this will be a good choice. Also, try booking it directly, its way cheaper. Thanks.

Excellent hotel
The hotel is adjacent to the airport which is its biggest positive. However, everything else is also well done. The staff are very helpful and attentive - will sort any minor issue properly - the room is comfortable (don't expect luxury) and fit for the job and is great value for money. The restaurant has a basic but adequate menu and the evening meal food was cooked and presented to a high standard (better than some pubs in the UK that pretend to be high quality). Breakfast is probably the only thing that would benefit from a bit more choice of hot food as the only thing available was scrambled egg, but I'm from the UK and hate cold meats, yogurts etc and cheeses for breakfast. Also, a good quality standard English tea (black) would be appreciated as I don't get on with with all the different trendy flavours & colours that were on offer.

About your hotel
The glass cup that was put in my room at the hotel was not clean after used. I have to tell the staff when I came back from outside. The bed sheet was not changed for 3day, I have to tell them to change it. The worst part was that the lady cleaning the rooms open my room without not knocking with her own key.

Not the best choice unless you have reason to stay
New hotel with smallish rooms. You wonder as they could have built a much bigger roomed hotel on the site. Same price as inner city hotels with little or no extra features. ie: A bit overpriced for such a remote location. Breakfast was very good and staff very helpful. Room was clean but a tad cramped.

Stylish hotel in perfect location
The IBIS is located at the airport which was perfect as I needed a bed for one night in between flights. The decor in the reception/bar/restaurant is very stylish. The room was quite small but clean and quiet. The kingsize bed was comfortable and I had a very good night's sleep. Great value for money.

Decent Hotel close to the airport
Decent place to stay if you are in town for work. Located next to the FDH airport and the train station. Taxis and bus available right outside. The rooms are reasonable, free wifi, good breakfast assortment, and a decent little restaurant. Checks out on all the things that one would need while traveling for business.

Nice hotel convenient for the airport
Close to a 4 star hotel in quality. Nice rooms, comfortable beds, nice linen. Bathroom a plastic cabin which might be off-putting for some, but great for steam ironing a shirt :-). Decent breakfast. Overall a good experience.
