"Historic hotel located within walking distance of historic sites and good restaurants. Parking was onsite and convenient, our room was large and the restaurant was good. No air conditioning in our room, I think they have a block of rooms with air conditioning. Staff was very kind and helpful."

"The hotel is in an excellent area near the 2 castles. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Only reason a few 4 star comments is our door to the patio off our room was broken and would fall inward, when we closed it and locked it, it would stay closed just wasn't able to walk outside. The food was good at the restaurants just wish they would have been open past 8:30pm. Also wish the pool area would be open past 8:00 pm. Other than that the hotel was great."

"The room was clean and accessible. The tub was a very high step over the edge and you need to point the water in one direction to not spray it across the room. The hand soap was nice but wants to drip on the floor. The hotel requires dragging suitcases up a few stairs to the lobby unless you know you can stay on the outside all the way around to the opposite end of the parking. Breakfast was great but it was assumed we knew what we were supposed to do."

"It was a first time to Füssen Germany. This hotel was everything we needed after four days in Munich for Oktoberfest. The pool and sauna were exceptional. The staff even provided us to go lunch for our early flight on our day of checkout. The area around the hotel was very unique and had great restaurants and gelato. I would highly recommend Hotel am Hopfensee."

"Super hôtel avec chambre rénovée. Même si l’hôtel est vieux, il est très bien bien entretenu. La chambre et l’hôtel étaient très propres. Notre chambre était spacieuse et les lits super confortable. L’hôtel est vraiment bien situé par rapport au centre-ville et à 7 min en voiture du château Neuschwanstein. Très grand stationnement avec beaucoup de place. Déjeuner continental typiquement allemand. Nous le recommandons"

"Excellent central location in the heart of the city, in a beautiful historic building with elegant, stylish interiors. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The staff were extremely kind, friendly, and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious with an excellent selection. Great additional facilities, including a sauna, gym, and convenient underground parking. Overall, a wonderful experience!"

"I put good instead of excellent b/c there is no staff. It's all automated for check-in and check-out. The hotel and room are beautiful, but the lack of staff just feels weird and is also time consuming."
