Great place the complimentary amenities were amazing but grab them whilst you can otherwise you won’t be able to take them. It had bath salt and facial masks. We drove the bed was spacious and I had the view of mt Fuji. I would however find it hard if walking as I could see people tiredly pushing their luggage up a little hill. The breakfast like others said are simple but I liked it. Nice and clean great English with the staff. Loved it thank you

we booked this hotel because it was more budget friendly and it shows. The room is small, the hotel isn’t very clean and you can tell the building itself is more run down. The rooftop view isn’t anything to shout about and it’s only a nice view if you get a lucky clear day (which we didn’t). Outside of that, it’s just a rooftop with some tables scattered around. It’s a 15 minute walk from the station and you can rent bikes there, which helps with getting around. I wouldn’t recommend walking to anywhere you want to go as it’s quite a good distance. The free breakfast is nice. The customer service is ok. It’s a decent hotel but it’s nothing fancy if youre looking for something simple in the area, it’s a good option.

Good base for a visit to Mt Fuji. Train station only as short walk away and hotel provides a shuttle service when you have baggage. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We only stayed one night, but the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. They provided everything we needed (and extras face masks!) the staff we friendly and helpful. It's around a 15 minute walk from kawaguchiko station, which is handy. It's convenient to explore lake Kawaguchiko area. They have bikes for hire, including electric bikes, which is great.

Decent place to rest. There are many things to do so we didn’t spend time in the room other than to shower and sleep. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the train/bus station. Close to bus route (red line).

Our room is huge facing the Mt. Fuji and so clean. Also, they provide takkyubin services for our luggages. We had free breakfast and there were only 2 options. We tried both and these were awesome. The staff is super friendly.

So glad we stayed here. The twin rooms had 2 queen beds. Mt Fuji view rooms were excellent. Ours had a tatami mat sitting area. The view of the mountain from the roof was amazing!! Can walk from the train station about 15 minutes. Taxis were lined up so chose to walk. Very clean. Kind staff. Highly recommend!

Very clean. Staff were very nice. The HAOSTAY COFFEE from the same owner is 3 minutes walk from train/bus station. They provide free service to transfer the luggages from the HAOSTAY hotel to HAOSTAY COFFEE.

The shower in room 102 smelled of sewage. At first I thought we just needed to leave the vent on but after the first day it was apparent that it was something that could not be fixed as it was coming from drain and would only stop if water was going through to block it. By the time we figured it out we already checked out. For the price paid for the large room it was definitely a poor value and I would expect cleaning staff to identify issues when preparing the room.

The unobstructed view of Mt Fuji is unbeatable. It’s also walkable to all major main attractions and bus stop is not far away. But it will be some walk from train station if you have huge luggage. Breakfast is simple but delicious. A lovely stay!

The room was interesting with an area for watami. The view from the room was perfect, looking directly at the mt Fuji. Room was clean and breakfast was good also. Will return for my next trip. Highly recommended!

Great stay for Kawaguchiko. The customer service is terrific. Owner lady is super hospitable. The hotel is clean and rooms are decently sized. I especially loved the tatami sitting area. The Mt Fuji view guest rooms ane roof top offers full view of Mt Fuji, unfortunately it was rainy and overcast the day we stayed. The hotel breakfast choices are a bit lacking, would recommend eating elsewhere. The location is close to Kawaguchiko lake and ~15mins to the station. I would not recommend walking to the hotel with luggage as the footpath is small and uneven which makes it extremely challenging, in particular at night where lighting is poor and cars are flying down the road. Would recommend catching a taxi to the hotel. The hotel provides a hotel shuttle bus to the station in the morning up till 10am which you'll need to reserve in advance for a spot. In the event you plan to stay in Kawaguchiko till the afternoon, the hotel offers to take your luggage to their cafe, approximately 3 mins walk to the station (Haostay coffee) which you can pick up later when you need to go to the station. Both Haostay Coffee and Kitchen offers decent food.

Great little hotel, excellent location, very clean, lovely staff. They did charge for luggage storage per bag, no matter what the size was. The view of Fuji-San from the roof and the rooms we had was a great bonus! Couldn’t check in early and the reception area was very hot while we waited - air con was turned on about half an hr before check in time so I’d recommend waiting elsewhere if you have to. The staff helped us with a large taxi to take us to 5th Station which we we very grateful for! We also really appreciated the free shuttle bus to the train station on departure. Would happily recommend.

My family of 4 had a pleasant stay in this location. This place was cozy, clean and close to subways. A lot of good restaurants around the area. There was a washer & dryer on site. Staff were courteous and attentive.

We are travelling with 2 children 13 10 yr olds, the rooms were clean the staff very helpful, the best feature of this hotel was the roof top viewing space, wow you are looking at Mt Fuji then the lake and the surrounding mountains it was the perfect end of day with a beer in hand !!!

Excellent hotel for staying near mount fuji, seeing the lake, cable car etc, about 15 min walk to kawaguchiko station, take a train or taxi to get close to the yoshida trail to hike up the mountain
