This was a clean and comfortable accommodation for 4 people. It was safe and in good walking distance to convenience stores and the transit station The check in process was smooth and seamless. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. They allowed for luggage storage on our check out day so we could explore. The onsen has an amazing view of Mt Fuji

The hosts were very friendly and spoke English well. They also allowed us to check our bags while we climbed Mt Fuji overnight far a small fee. Everything was spotless and worked well.

Directly across the street from the train and bus terminal. Several good restaurants close by. A continental breakfast is available for 650 Y. Rooms are large and comfortable.

Most convenient to Kawaguchiko train station, across the street from it. Great view of Mt Fuji from some rooms, aside from power lines. Nice onsen with view of Mt Fuji. No elevator.

The property itself is nothing special, but the owners are kind and there is a nice bath house to cool off in (it is shared so not a lot of privacy). The bathrooms are shared as well. Japanese style, so you sleep on the floor with a cushion. But they have cute tea sets and nice yukatas. And the biggest plus is of course the fact that it's right across the street from the train station and the bus station that takes you directly to Mount Fuji, hence the reason of my stay.

A Great Small Size Hotel
The young owner was being very helpful in providing information who speaks very good English. Super near to Kawaguchiko Station is a big plus during our stay.

Great location right in front of Fuji mountain great roof top ozen and facilities to wash clothes and dry hair. Our floors bathroom is shared gets a bit noisy when people using it other than that great inn and will come back due to its convenience and will order food next time.

Comfortable, Great location, Onsen is Magic.
We spent 3 days in Kawaguchiko 5-8 May to view Mt Fuji, walk around Lake Kawaguchiko & visit Fuji-Q Highland Amusement Park. The Kawaguchiko Station Inn is directly opposite of the Railway station at the end of the Fujikyuko Line & a Bus Station, so there are plenty of transport options in & out of the area, and locally. The Inn has Japanese-style guest rooms, shared bathrooms, including a wonderful Onsen with views of Mt Fuji from the bathtub. The Inn is managed well & offers a slice of Japanese culture that can be savoured & enjoyed in an overnight stay or for a few days. The location is perfect to visit local attractions by foot or bus...and perfect to get to & from with luggage. Note, there is no lift in the building, but the staff will help with luggage, if asked...or they'll probably offer. Japanese people do customer service very well, especially if you have a go at talking to them in their language (regardless how limited it maybe). Recommend using the Onsen each morning after you roll out of bed (mattress on floor) to get yourself going. Certainly helped me get into each day.

The Kawaguchiko Inn was directly opposite the bus and train station. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was sufficient. We would recommend the Station Inn to anyone on a budget

Average Inn in good location
Room is quite small but clean though have some kind of old wood smell. Extremely good view of Mount Fuji outside window. Shared bath and toilet make it really inconvenient for families. Also, while toilets for male and female are separated, the entry and common hand wash area is joint... floor and area around basin often wet. Best part of the hotel is the location. Right next to train and bus stops.

This hostel is just opposite to Kawaguchiko Station, too convenient for travel around Kawaguchiko with their buses, trains, and food. We were blown away with Mt. Fuji view right in front of our room window! Love the big hot bath tub and Yukata prepared by the hostel. Appreciated the baggage storage service prior to check in and after checkout. If i ever return to Kawaguchiko, will sure return to Kawaguchiko Inn!

Not my Cup of Tea
Understand that the hotel has done very well in cleaning most area, but the slipper they provided are used by all guest once they walk in the hotel. The shoes changing area is very stink due to all guest took off their shoes there. And it made me feel very uncomfortable especially using the hotel slipper which left by previous guest and didn't sterilize. Slipper only in one size, and it was oversize for me, very hard to handle walking downstair to basement kitchen or upstair to top floor bathroom. .

Awesome stay at Mt. Fuji
The hostel is very near Kawaguchiko Station which made everything easier for my family. It is also where all buses within and outside the area go to pick up and drop off passengers. Mt. Fuji can also be seen once you step out of the hostel. Please take note that the hostel is not good for PWD since it only has stairs to go up the rooms, bathroom and the toilet.
