Very clean and convenient Hostel
Keep in mind this is basically a hostel, though we stayed in a private room. The showers and lavs are on the second floor, though each floor has shared bathrooms. The place was extremely clean, very fresh clean linens. We were on the fourth floor, there is a small elevator, in a small room with a nice queen bed and a double futon for the floor. The two bunk rooms next to us were occupied by young women who were sometimes a little noisy when we slept late, but not overly so during the night. This is a convenient walk to Tenjin and the subway with a convenience store about a block away. It is right next to the main street through Tenjin with buses and taxis. Late check in was not really convenient but since they have a place to store your luggage it really did not cause a problem. Reasonable , clean and friendly folks there so it was comfortable,

Staff stay late to help me checkin
I stayed for 2 nights. The reason I give 4 star is because the staff was waiting for me for the check in. when I booked HATAGO tenjin private, didn't realize the check-in is until 10 pm, and my flight arrive in Fukuoka is 9:50 pm, so there is no way to get there by 10 pm. I also contact Expedia a day after my booking, but nothing can be changed. other than that, the room is clean and quiet. a window you can get some fresh air. Its a good deal for the price at this location. and the bathrooms are shared. I think Expedia and any hotel should WARN traveler which is fighting internationally, there is limited time window for the check-in, otherwise its going to be a very bad experience for the traveler.
