"Great value for money, and very handy location, once we found it.
Rooms were small, bathroom even smaller, double bed small too, but for the price, it was still good value.
Breakfast was great and staff really polite. "

Green Hill Hotel Onomichi
10/10 Excellent
"I was riding the Shimanami Kaido and the Green Hill Hotel proved to be an excellent place to stay for the start. First off, it’s location is perfect.
Service was great and staff were extremely polite and helpful, as expected from Japanese hotels. Check-in was easy, as was having them arrange transport for my bags to my next hotel on Omisihima Island.
Once in the room the hotel further impressed me. The room was decently sized for a Japanese hotel with a gorgeous view of the harbor. The AC provided blessed relief from the heat that had been lingering up until that day I was there as did two cups of tasty citrus snacks provided for free in the room.
In the morning the breakfast buffet proved to be excellent, with plenty of options to choose from including delicious seafood, as expected from a seaside hotel. I would have happily stayed another night but I had a bike ride to do."
"Room is clean, staff service good, equipment and facilities looks very new or well maintained, very near train station and bus terminal, next to malls and shops and great view to Fukuyama Castle if you are lucky
"
"Room is clean and new. Love the view with Shinkanen and part of the castle. Friendly and helpful staff. Close the station. The only downside is the relatively old design of the lobby"
"This is a perfect budget hotel!! I'm amazed. If you are a business traveler, don't forget to ask for folding table for PC - they don't have a table inside the room (but I think it's ok considering the nature of the budget hotel)."
"I loved my room! It had a castle view and was very clean. The staff was friendly and helped me open a Ramune soda bottle. I recommend this hotel to others and would stay again."
