"Property was clean with a very attractive entry. Breakfast was offsite at a cafe attached to the building and was one of the best coffees and pastries of the trip. I would have no problem staying here again. "

"Situé dans une petite ruelle de Linguaglossa au nord de l'Etna, le logement est assez sombre avec l'extérieur mais heureusement bien éclairé. Belle salle de bain et cuisine aménagée pour prendre le petit déjeuner de manière indépendante"

"Very accommodating. Stefano allowed early check-in and he was so kind to drive us to the Milazzo train station. The place is easy to find and Stefano is easy to contact by phone or WhatsApp. Kitchen is stocked with treats, coffee, tea, milk, bread, jams. He has a beautiful patio. Under a lemon tree and he allowed us to take some lemons home. The place is very clean and comfortable. Would love to come back and enjoy the beautiful beach right in front of the house."

"We had a great stay at Rosa’s. She was very welcoming and as others have said, provides an amazing breakfast. Ideal location for exploring Etna Nord. "

"Host was awesome! Offered recommendations to see and eat. Room was in great shape. 24 hour coffee. Near the sites and a large number of great restaurants."

"I don't know if we missed it in the hotel description, but it was a weird check-in process and the hotel is not a 'real' hotel, it's just rooms in an apartment building, so there's no hotel staff. There's also no breakfast room, you have to go to a nearby bar to get breakfast (which consists of only one cornetto and a beverage).
The room itself was nice and clean, very spacious. Comfy bed."

"The B&B is absolutely charming, clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring and so easy to find at the entrance gate. Staff were wonderful, and the breakfast very nice and plentiful."

"The staff and daily breakfasts were exceptional! Great location, not in the heart of the noise, but still close enough to everything. If you can, upgrade rooms. Ours was quaint and quiet with a private patio, but also very dark and not very charming. "
"Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and a really enjoyable start to the day. Our room—with the terrace view—was absolutely stunning and a highlight of the stay. The hotel ended up being our favorite of the entire Sicily trip. Valet parking was seamless and very convenient, which made everything feel easy from the moment we arrived. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and the overall atmosphere felt relaxed and special—definitely a place we’d return to."
"It’s a small little boutique hotel with about six or eight rooms on two floors. They are super nice and super well appointed with everything you need and a nearby grocery store and a laundromat which came in very very handy.
There’s also a rooftop bar adjacent to the property, which has the best views in the city and good drinks at a reasonable price.
Then it’s a short 3 minute walk downhill to the main drag where all the shops and people are. It’s obviously uphill back to the hotel but nothing too tough.
Would highly recommend this place to anyone that’s visiting the area."
"We travelled to Villa Sonia as a couple in our mid-30s for 6 days in early April, staying B&B in a Superior Room (Room 410).
Location
Centrally located in Castelmola, with shops and bars a 5-minute walk away—plenty to do nearby for relaxed days. The walk to Taormina took around 30 minutes down and 35 back up. We’re moderately fit and it was ~20°C, but the uphill stretch could be tough in hotter months. There’s a bus stop nearby (we didn’t use it), and a taxi from Taormina sea area cost €40. We rented a car and used the secure car park (€7/day).
Staff
The standout of our trip—every reception staff member was kind, approachable, and gave great recommendations with detailed maps. Breakfast staff were also friendly and attentive.
Cleanliness
Rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard. All areas, including the pool and breakfast space, were consistently spotless.
Facilities
The hotel has a charming feel. Our room had an incredible view of Mt Etna, a huge balcony, and a very comfortable bed. No kettle initially, but one was provided same day on request. The pool area was lovely to relax in, though too cold to swim in April. Pool bar closed off-season, but drinks/snacks available in the lobby.
Food & Drink
Breakfast was good, with a small but varied selection—special mention to the apple cake. We only had dinner once, but food, wine, and service were all great and well priced.
Very good value.
We would return in a heartbeat!!"
"Just had a fabulous 4 night stay. From the moment we walked into the hotel, all staff were so welcoming and you could just tell they were proud to work at the hotel. Rooms were clean & tidy, breakfast was fresh with plenty of choice. The pool and roof terrace with spectacular views was the icing on the cake. It’s located in the perfect spot just off the Main Street with everything in walking distance. "
"The location was good, walking distance to antic theater and tram to Isolla Bella. Near restaurants and souvenir shops.
The breakfast was good. The breakfast was served on a terrace with a view to the ocean, very nice view.
They have valet parking for $20 Euros. Service is good, they are attentive.
We stayed on an apartment just outside the hotel. The apartment was spacious. However, it was dated. We had one good day with internet and one bad day. They switched our router, the one on the first router was better, much faster.
The apartment had central heating that did not work. But, it did have a heater like individual AC for each of our rooms and the living room. The Heat system in our room made very loud noises every hour or so. It woke me up at 3 AM one night.
All and all it was ok. The highlight was the breakfast on the terrace. The worst was the noise heater and the internet in our second day. "
"Nice hotel at the perfect location just at the start of town. Also close to the main public parking. Definitely dated and needs a refresh but overall all comfortable and cle"
